Your Thoughts Run Your Life
Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. (Proverbs 4:23 NCV)
Your body is a servant of your mind. It obeys the operations of the mind. When you think negative or unlawful thoughts, your body will sink rapidly into disease (dis -ease) and decay.
When you think about good or beautiful thoughts such as God’s Word, your body becomes clothed with youthfulness and beauty. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) Health and disease, just like circumstances, are rooted in your thoughts. Sickly thoughts reproduce themselves through a sickly body. Thoughts of fear have continually been known to kill a man as quick as a bullet. People who fear a disease will most likely get it because as a man thinks.
Anxiety quickly demoralizes the whole body and lays it open to disease entrance, while impure thoughts, even if you are not actively indulging in them, will soon shatter the nervous system. Strong, pure, happy thoughts build up the body in vigor and grace. The body is a delicate instrument that responds readily to your impressed thoughts, and habits of thought will produce their effects, whether good or bad, upon it. Clean thoughts produce clean habits. Clean thoughts produce a clean life and a clean body. He that hath an ear to hear what the spirit is trying to reveal let him hear! (Matthew 11;15, Revelations 2:29) Your thoughts are powerful. Your thoughts soon become your words! How do I know that? Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45, Matthew 12:34, Proverbs 10:11, 24:12, Psalms 14:1) Can you say, ‘Father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me!’ (Psalms 51:10)
Your thoughts are powerful; that’s why we are instructed in (Romans 12:2) to renew our minds daily and wash our minds with the water of the Word. (Ephesians 5:26) Putting on the whole armor of God daily. (Ephesians 6:11-18) Stop meditating on your thoughts. (Joshua 1:8-9) says you are to meditate on the Word of God day and night and do all you are commanded to do, then you will make your way prosperous and have success. It does not say, meditate your thoughts day and night. Those negative thoughts you are having are fiery darts from the devil shooting at your mind. Your mind is the devil’s playground. (Ephesians 6:16) Those negative thoughts are a demonically induced pattern of thinking. Take authority over your negative thoughts before they become a stronghold. Strongholds are hard to break! You have got to load yourself up with ammunition (scripture) you have hidden in your heart and declare those scriptures when the attacks come. Fight fire with fire!
You will destroy the devil when you declare, ‘Mr devil, it is written, ‘God has not given me a spirit of fear, but power, love, and self-discipline; therefore, I have a sound mind! (2 Timothy 1:7) DEVIL! Don’t mess with me today; I know you are short, ugly, toothless, and powerless! The only thing you can do is roar! Now, take your finger and flick the devil off your shoulder and go about your day! He won’t mess with you because you know who you are in Christ!
Recently I went to the ophthalmologist to have my eyes tested. After all the tests, my doctor said, ‘you have the cleanest eyes of anyone I have ever seen at almost 66 years of age – and if you didn’t need readers, your vision would be perfect. I thought, ‘Wow! I have never heard that before! As I walked out of his office, ‘Holy Spirit said, ‘you carry anointing for eyes and ears to be healed!’ The enemy has attacked my eyes three times in my life and almost lost my vision, and God has healed me. Twice the enemy has attacked my hearing, and I almost lost it, but God healed me. I ask the Father to take the scales off your eyes so you can see the truth. It is the truth that will set you free. (John 8:31-32) If you need healing in your eyes and ears, I want to pray for you. When He heals you, I want you to contact me and give me your praise report! Holy Spirit said, ‘while you speak, people will be healed! I expect it! Stop what you are doing and pray with me.

Father God, I repent for negative thoughts; I ask you to forgive me now. I choose to meditate on the Word of God day and night, as you have instructed me. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I speak to my eyes and ears, and I declare on the authority of the Word of God be opened and be healed! I command a deaf and dumb spirit to exit my body now in Jesus’ name, impacting, and healing my mind. I declare I have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16) ‘Father I receive my healing by faith Now in Jesus all-powerful
