What is God Instructing You to Do
Precious one, you can’t sit idle and expect things to change. Put your faith to work and obey what the Lord is telling you to do. Many times, we end up in a stuck place because we haven’t obeyed the last instruction God gave us. What is God instructing you to do right now? Obey! (1 Samuel 15:22)
At the beginning of April 2012, the Holy Spirit spoke to me audibly to clean out my garage and get my car in the garage. There was urgency when He spoke those words. I moved back to Dallas on February 4, 2008, I had movers stack the boxes in the garage and never opened the door again until April 1st, 2012 because it was a dark painful season. This is a word for someone! I mustered up the strength with the help of one of my sisters to clean the garage out and obey God. At the end of the day on April 2nd, I parked the car in the garage. On April 3rd there was an outbreak of tornadoes across the metroplex, twelve touched down. One came within half a mile from my home, baseball size hail beat the vehicles in the parking lot. Windows were knocked out, and cars looked like someone beat them with a sledgehammer. I was inside praying taking authority over the storms as Jesus instructed us to. (Mark 4:35-41) It looked like a war zone outside when the storm was over. Every vehicle had severe damage but mine!
The Holy Spirit said, ‘from now on when I give you an instruction obey! You do not know what I am protecting you from!’ Wow! God is so good. Obedience is better than sacrifice. What is God instructing you to do?
