Victory on the Battlefield
Beloved now more than ever, the world around us is a battlefield. We are in a spiritual war and have an enemy who’s real, but we serve a bigger God than any scheme or plan the enemy has. The enemy has one plan, he’s ruthless, cunning, and determined to steal, kill, and destroy you and your family. However, Jesus came to give you, life and life more abundantly! (John 10:10) Daily we must take authority and dominion over the forces of darkness and cancel the assignment the enemy has against our family and us. How do you do that? Get up every morning and put on the full armor of God so you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you. (Ephesians 6:10) Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for you so that you will be protected as you fight against the accuser’s evil strategies! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. They are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
(Ephesians 6:11-13 TPT) Put on:
1.The Belt of Truth (The Believer’s Integrity) The Belt of Truth to strengthen you to stand in triumph. (Ephesians 6:14)
2.Holiness as the protective armor Breastplate of Righteousness. (Breastplate of Righteousness that covers your heart. (The Believer’s purity) (Ephesians 6:14)
3.Your feet must be fitted with the Gospel of Peace. (The Believer’s tranquility) Stand on your feet, alert! Always be ready to share the blessings of peace. (Ephesians 6:15)
4.The Shield of Faith, (The Believer’s Certainty) In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield because it extinguishes blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16)
5. The Helmet of Salvation. (The Believer’s Sanity) Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance by putting on your helmet to protect your thoughts from lies and speak the spoken Word of God, which is a razor-sharp sword of the Spirit to defeat the enemy. (Ephesians 6:17)
6. Pray Passionately in the Spirit. As you continuously intercede with every form of prayer, pray passionately. Pray for blessings of God upon all His believers. (Ephesians 6:18)
God has a plan for your life, and the devil has a plan. You have to decide which voice you’re going to listen to, and whom you’re going to choose to follow each day. If you don’t make a determined choice to follow Christ, you may soon fall into the trap of the enemy. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy you, but Christ Jesus came that you might have life and life more abundantly! (John 10:10) Putting your armor on when you get dressed in the mornings protects you through the day from the enemy’s attacks. God has given you powerful tools in His Word, but you must apply them to your life to live victoriously on the battlefield!
Declare this with me:
I declare and decree today I put on the whole armor of God to guard against the attacks of the enemy. I put on the belt of truth to protect my mind against lies and deception. I put on the breastplate of righteousness to protect my heart from the temptations I battle. I put the gospel of peace on my feet, so I’m ready to take Your light wherever You direct me today. I choose to walk in peace and freedom. I declare I will not be overcome with fear or anxious thoughts. I take up Your shield of faith that will extinguish all the darts and threats hurled my way by the enemy. I believe by the power of the Holy Spirit; You protect my family and me. I choose to trust in You alone. I put on the helmet of salvation, which covers my mind and thoughts, reminding me I am Your child, forgiven, delivered, saved by grace. I take up the sword of the Spirit, Your Word, the One offensive weapon given to me for battle, which has the power to demolish strongholds, alive, active, and sharper than any double-edged sword. I am an ambassador of Christ. As an extension cord of Christ, I go out today for the Holy Spirit to flow through me and show others love and kindness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
