Victory
My child your behavior starts in your mind and it’s in your mind where spiritual transformation takes place. When you are struggling with a spirit of heaviness it starts with self-defeating thoughts. Be alert and recognize the enemy quickly – he is trying to attack you with a spirit of oppression or depression; clearly know that you are in a spiritual battle. (Ephesians 6:11-13) You can’t fight spiritual battles with flesh and blood, or you will lose. You are fighting with wicked evil rulers and authorities of darkness. The enemy’s plan is to lie and deceive you. (John 8:44) He ever so slightly twists the truth, but it is the truth that sets you free. (John 8:31-32)
There are times you open yourself to deception, footholds, and strongholds by the choices you make to allow evil ideas or concepts in your mind through what goes through your eyes and ears. (Ephesians 4:27) When you do this, you give the enemy legal access to create a mess or even disaster in your life. As a believer, you must get up and put your armor on daily. (Ephesians 6:11-13) The enemy is roaming around the earth seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 4:8) Rise up now and take back what the enemy has stolen from you and close the door that has been opened. Perhaps it is because of word curses someone is speaking over you – but you have the authority to break its power.
Remember the devil is short, toothless, ugly, and makes a lot of noise but you have been given authority to take dominion over the enemy and put him under your feet and keep him there. (Romans 16:20) You have the Holy Spirit to teach you and give you courage, in addition to My Instruction Manual – the Bible to guide you in all things. Through your praise and worship, I will open the supernatural realm and pour out My glory. Now take authority over evil, the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you in all truth. (John 16:13) This battle belongs to the Lord, so give it to Him! The victory was completed on Calvary when My Son Jesus died on the cross and arose on the third day. At this moment He sits at My right-hand interceding for you – so get in agreement with Him by speaking the Word to defeat the enemy! (Romans 8:34) You are more than a conqueror despite all these attacks. (Romans 8:37) Overwhelming victory is yours through Christ – He loves you!
