Unexpected Storms!
My beloved child, I encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Me even during the storms of life. Allow the storms to reveal and refine your unwavering faith. Storms blow away shallow faith and strengthen it as a fortress. You are unmovable and unshakeable – rooted and built up in Christ alone with overflowing thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7) The storms of life may come, but just as David, you have cried out to Me in your time of distress. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom shall I take refuge, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised! (Psalms 18:2-3)

David expressed his grief through tears in times of distress. Read the book of Psalms. He would begin each Psalm either singing praise unto Me or crying out to Me for help in desperation. He went from crying out to singing praise, repeatedly, like a roller coaster. He cried, Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones ache. My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long? Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. Among the dead, no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave? I am worn out from my groaning. All night long, I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. (Psalms 6:1-6) Hello! That’s serious when you cry buckets of tears, and don’t forget that God collects your tears in bottles. (Psalms 56:8)
David cried, listen to my words, Lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You -storms
I pray. In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning, I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly. (Psalms 5:1-3) Have you ever felt like David when storms encompass round about you?  You need to know it’s all right to cry; tears are cleansing to your soul. So, go ahead and cry, for I know you’re as David a man/woman after My own heart, desiring to please Me in all your ways. (1 Samuel 13:14) You also need to know God hears you when you call upon His name. (Jeremiah 33:3) You are like a tree that has withered the storm. Though the storms come, and the winds blow, you are like a tree planted by the brooks of water which continually bears fruit in season, and you will prosper in all you do! (Psalms 1:1-3) Get ready! There is always a great blessing on the other side of the storm!
