The Holiest Day of the Year!
My child many do not understand what Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement is:
A significant day of celebration throughout history reminding us of the great price Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and you are to teach it to your children’s children through generations. (Leviticus 23:26-32) It is a special day we humble ourselves in worship, prayer, repentance, communion, coming face to face with the King of Kings and honoring Him with our ‘First Fruits Offering.’ Atonement means repenting of sins, iniquities, and transgressions, making wrongs right, recompense, make preparation for (the bride makes preparation for Christ the groom).
Before Jesus died on the cross the Rabbi recorded, ‘on the Day of Atonement a scarlet cord was tied to the door of the Temple representing the sins of the people and by the end of Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement and all the sacrifices had been completed the cord became white’, as it is written in scriptures: ‘though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white snow!’ (Isaiah 1:18) Then one day something happened! A universal change took place in the first century in the Temple indicating something important took place – ‘the cord stopped changing from scarlet to white.” This was a sign that sacrifices were no longer accepted because the final sacrifice had been offered up. (Hebrews 10:18-22, 17:17-23)
All this happened at the same time in history when King Jesus came to Jerusalem and died as the final sacrifice for your sins. That was around the year 30 AD. You have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Christ Jesus once and for all – after you have had an encounter with Him being born again! (John 3:16) The Rabbi documented that this change took place at Jesus the Messiah’s death – a sign of history written in scarlet that the final atonement has absolutely taken place, that the guilty become innocent, and that God has cleansed the sins of the past – our sins were as scarlet – have indeed become white as snow! (Isaiah 1:18) Do you see all the sins of your life and mistakes you have made have been turned from scarlet to white? See, all your sins and mistakes of your life and shake it off! Now you can live a life free – for whom the Son has set free, is free indeed. (John 8:36) Seek to live daily a scarlet-free life!
I am spending the day in prayer, praying over every prayer request that comes in, Please send me your Prayer Requests – especially names of lost loved ones.
