This is the Season of Miracles, Restoration,
Debt Cancelation and a Double Portion
You must observe the Day of Atonement as an official day for holy assembly, a day to deny yourselves and present special gifts to the Lord. Do no work during that entire day because it is the Day of Atonement, when offerings of purification are made for you, making you right with the Lord your God. All who do not deny themselves that day will be cut off from God’s people. And I will destroy anyone among you who does any work on that day. You must not do any work at all! This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation wherever you live. This will be a Sabbath day of complete rest for you, and on that day, you must deny yourselves. This day of rest will begin at sundown to sundown. (Leviticus 23:26-32 NLT)
My child did you know people perish for a lack of knowledge? (Hosea 4:6) Are you aware that I have a divine appointment set up with you this month? I planned it long ago after I formed the world and all that is in it. I am a jealous God, and I long for you to set aside the appointed times to meet with Me. My timing is perfect, and My principles are sure. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) When is this divine appointment? It’s My Holy Days or My holidays. Man has turned from My holidays and festivals, and turned to Valentine’s, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas among other set days in the world. There are three feasts’ seasons, a total of seven during the year that I have set for you to honor and celebrate. Why? So, you will return to Me often! If you honor Me and these set holidays, I will release the blessing set forth in Joel 2.
The first Feast is Passover, then 50 days later is the Feast of Pentecost. In the fall, the Feast of Rosh Hashanah, which is a celebration – the birthday of the world, immediately followed by ’The Ten Days of Awe (a time to repent) leading up to the holiest day of the year, ‘the Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur, then followed by the Feast of Harvest/Tabernacles.’ Each holiday/festival has prophetic meaning, a literal meaning and they give you principles to live by, and I have commanded you to honor these dates set throughout all generations, no matter where you live. You are not released from these divine appointments; they are holy holidays.
You do not celebrate these holidays the same as in the Old Testament where a high priest went into the Holy of Holies making a blood sacrifice on behalf of all the people once a year, Jesus came, He became your atonement. Why do you celebrate the Day of Atonement, this set holiday? For you to stop to remember what the blood has done for you and what it can do in your future! You need the blood covering of Jesus Christ now more than ever with all that is going on in the world around you. It is a time for you to honor and respect the blood covenant you have as a believer.
Knowing that I am in covenant with a holy God who is alive and sitting on His throne because of the blood of Jesus Christ gives me peace. How about you? You can’t buy it or earn it! It’s something God has called us to honor because Almighty God commanded us to do it.
This month is a month of New Beginnings, harvest, fruitfulness, and a time of celebration the entire month. These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, official days for the holy assembly that are to celebrate at their proper times of each year. (Leviticus 23:4) “Be careful to celebrate the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of that same month—nine days after the Festival of Trumpets. You must observe it as an official day for holy assembly, a day to deny yourselves and present special gifts to the LORD” (Leviticus 23:27). As we forgive, repent, and get our heart right, then we come to the Day of Atonement. God says, “Do not stand before Me empty-handed, you must bring an offering every man according to his ability.” (Deuteronomy 16:16)
God set these appointed times for us to honor and reverence Him starting September 6, 2021, the Days of Awe, (10 days of reflection and repentance) to the Day of Atonement (16th) then at the end of the month the Feast of Trumpets the (22-29th). God is saying to us right now, ‘Stop! Halt everything! Remember I am God. I am sovereign and I have you in the palm of my hand. I am with you, and I am for you. I have a blood covenant with you, honor Me. What has God done for you? How valuable is the blood that covers you and your family as a hedge of protection? I challenge you to honor God and the Blood Covenant you have on the 16th of this month the holiest day of the entire year, ‘the Day of Atonement’:
1. Fast sunset on 15th to sunset on 16th (Leviticus 23:27)
2. Do not work (Leviticus 23:28)
3. Sow First Fruit Offering (Leviticus 23:27)
4. Spend time reflecting, and repenting (Psalms 51:10)
5. Reading the Word of God (Joshua 1:8-9)
If you honor God as He has commanded the blessing is released. Be intentional about honoring God and the Holiest Day of the year, then watch and document what God does for you! This is the season of great miracles, restoration, debt-cancellation and a double portion!
