The Anointing Knows Where to Find You
My precious child, what is your Divine Mandate? Do you know the very purpose you were created? You are alive in this timeline because God has given you an assignment to fulfill! Your mandate is the assignment I have given you to accomplish in your lifetime and I anointed you to do the job. No one else can do it! (Colossians 3:23) The word anointing in Hebrew means to smear or rub! There is an anointing on your life to fulfill the assignment I have for you to do. (1 John 2:20-21) The anointing knows where to find you! Elisha was minding his own business out in the field plowing with a team of twelve oxen. Suddenly a radical prophet Elijah showed up in the middle of the field and placed his mantle on him. (1 Kings 19:19-21) I want to say it again, ‘the anointing knows where to find you.’ You don’t have to go looking for it – it will come looking for you.
The anointing is like getting a blood transfusion – supernaturally you are empowered to do what I have called you to do. It’s not on the inside – I smear the anointing all over you inside and everything shifts – it drives you to do what I have called you to do. No matter what you face you have the authority to take dominion and overcome. A mantle will shift you! It catapults you! A fire is ignited in you to move you forward to new dimensions! My grandparents were my Pastor growing up. My grandmother was a fiery spirit and a preaching, praying warrior for God. She walked the walk and talked the talk. She was a ‘No Nonsense’ kind of woman, kind of like me. In 1991 just before my grandparents passed, they laid hands on me and prayed a very simple prayer passing their mantle to me.’ I didn’t feel a thing, that is for ten years. However, in 2001 selling real estate I had an encounter with God that shifted my walk. In 2004, everything changed – I went full-time in ministry. I would never in a lifetime believed that God picked me out of my entire family to do what I do. I was the least likely candidate to be used by God but isn’t that exactly what God does. He picks the least like to be used, turns their life around, and equips them for His purposes. God has a plan for you, but you must yield to it!
There are gifts God has deposited in you when you were in your mother’s womb that is coming alive, and you are about to be shifted and propelled forward to impact many lives. (1 John 2:20-21) Today I ask the Holy Spirit to ignite the fire of the Holy Spirit that lives in you and set you on fire. I declare and decree that you are a carrier of the fire of the Holy Ghost even as it was on the Day of Pentecost! (2 Timothy 1:5-6) Go ignite the flame in others and set ablaze the Spirit of the Living God across this land. You were born for such a time as this! Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. (Romans 12:11-13 Message)
