Talk to God
The high and holy days of the entire year ended yesterday. Many of you sowed ‘First Fruits’ Offerings and I have been waving your seed, tithe and offerings before the Lord as commanded in (Leviticus 23) declaring the blessings of the Lord over you and your family. Let me remind you this is the decade of the mouth, and you will have whatsoever you say. (Mark 11:24) It is also the year of the house. Whatever you do, do not be divided within, in your mouth or in your house! Why is that important? A house divided against itself cannot stand. (Mark 3:25)
Recently, I have had several people tell me they’re not as close to God as they once were. I began praying for those who have expressed those words to me. One day last week as I was praying, I heard the Lord say, ‘I didn’t move – they did. The reason they do not feel close to me is ‘THEY HAVE STOPPED TALKING TO ME!’ Enoch walked with God and talked with God. If you want to be close to God, start by talking to Him like He’s your Daddy because He is. I talk to God and pray in the spirit throughout the day as I am about my work, and you can too. Tell Daddy God how much you love Him. Express your gratitude to Him for being so good to you. Praise Him in the middle of your circumstances and watch Him turn it all around and give you double for your trouble as He did Job. (Job 42:10)
Today I encourage you to talk to God while you are on your job, cleaning your home, doing laundry, buying groceries, throughout your day. You will be amazed at what will happen when you start talking to God throughout your day! He will give you favor, ordering your steps and stops. (Psalms 37:23) Enoch walked with God and talked with God daily and He was counted as righteous. One day while he was walking and talking with God – He was closer to heaven than he was home and just walked right into heaven. His testimony is found in (Genesis 5). Read it and learn from this great role model in the Word of God.
