Take Every Thought Captive
My child a stronghold is a path of thoughts such as worry, fear, unforgiveness or anything that does not line up with My Word (the Bible); is a demonically induced pattern of thinking. Example: the enemy drops a negative thought in your mind, and you begin to think about it; if you think on it long enough it will become a stronghold. (Proverbs 23:7 KJV) When the idea comes – immediately open your mouth and speak a scripture that negates the thought, and it will exit your mind. Why should you do this? My Word is quick, powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword, or a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, dividing your soul and spirit, bone and marrow, doubt and knows the thoughts and intents of your heart, laying you open to listen and obey. (Hebrews 4:12 NLT)
Nothing and no one is resistant to My Word. You cannot get away from it – no matter what! The battlefield is your mind, and your weapon is the Word of God – it is a machine gun! A machine gun destroys everything around it! When the Word of God is hidden in your heart by memorizing scripture, you are literally a weapon! You are a machine gun, and all that is negative around you is wiped out the moment you open up your mouth and speak My Word! Those mental pictures in your mind that produce fear, worry, panic or anxiety – you have to kill them with My Word. Then you will live in the zone of abundance. (John 10:10 KJV) Today I have given you a choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the decision you make. Oh, that you would choose life so that you and your descendants might live! (Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV)
