Stop Listening to the Lying Spirits
Beloved one as I have been traveling a lot the last several weeks ministering I continually hear from people of all ages that they are struggling with fear, which prompted me to address in todays devotional. If you are struggling with fear today, it is not from God. God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind, and self-control]. (2 Timothy 1:7 Amplified) My child, I said in My Word 365 times, ‘Do Not Fear!’ There is a scripture for every day you can meditate on all year long. Fear is a spirit, and it does not come from Me. Every good and perfect gift comes from Me. (James 1:17) I am instructing you, ‘do not be fearful.’ Do not be afraid for the Lord your God is with you!
(Joshua 1:7-9)
When you allow fear to come in, you do not trust. Fear is a liar! The devil has used the same old tricks for generations whispering lies in people’s ear. When you listen to the enemy’s lies and meditate on them – you open the door for a spirit of fear to come in then it becomes a stronghold. Meditating on the thoughts and lies the enemy whispers to you not only opens the door to fear, but fear will bring his relatives: worry, anxiety, and panic with it. How do you break the spirit of fear, worry, anxiety, and panic? You break it by taking authority over your thoughts the moment you have them and declare scripture! It is written… ‘God has not given me a spirit of fear, but He has given me power, love, and self-discipline/sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) When you put your trust in the Lord, He empowers you to stay focused on Him and live a fearless life. It is written… be still and know that I am God! (Psalms 46:10) For My sheep know My voice and no other voice will they follow. (John 10:27-28)
It is written… the Lord will fight for you, only be still. (Exodus 14:14) It is written… fear not, for I the Lord your God am with you. I will strengthen you. I will help you, and I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) It is written… I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. (Psalms 34:4) It is written… the one who trusts in the Lord is protected. (Proverbs 29:25) It is written… He will cover my family and me with His feathers, and under his wings, we will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler. I will not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day. (Psalms 91:4-5) It is written… when I am afraid, I put my trust in You alone O’ Lord. (Psalms 56:3) It is written… God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. (Psalms 46:1)
Pray With Me:
Father God I boldly come before Your throne of grace and thank you for hearing and answering my prayers. I take authority and dominion over the enemy NOW, you wicked, evil, lying spirit and I command you to leave Right Now! I take authority over every lie you have tried to whisper in my ear. I repent that I spent one moment thinking about the lies. You have been caught and you must leave on the authority of the Word of God in Jesus name, and I release the power and presence of God and His Word in my body, in my marriage, in my home, in my family, in my family and on my job in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
