Stop and Ask for Direction

My children pay attention to the life of a Jewish man who was born in affluent family. His parents gave him two names one meant ‘small’ and came from the root word meaning to pause or stop. His other name came from the root word meaning ‘to ask, seek or inquire’. He was a stubborn and impulsive – seldom pausing or stopping for anything. (Proverbs 3:5-6) He never stopped to seek direction. One day everything in his life was about to change. He finally stopped because a bright blinding light struck him on the road to Damascus and he fell to the ground. (Proverbs 19:21) Yes it was the Apostle Paul! Paul means to stop, end, or pause from the path you are taking – to come to the end of yourself! His entire life was leading up to this very moment. His other name was Saul, which means to pause and ask or seek. (Acts 9:1-8) I said to him Saul! Saul, which means Ask!! Ask! Paul finally stopped and asked. For the first time in his life, he realized he didn’t have a clue of who I am! He didn’t know it but from the day he was born he was waiting on this very moment – a Divine Appointment with the Master! (Romans 1:1-5) I answered him – I am Yeshua Jesus, the Messiah and his life was changed forever! He went from being the greatest murderer of Christians to becoming the greatest Soul Winner throughout history. If you can’t stop long enough to Me – you will never find Me! Stop what you’re doing at this moment and seek Me and the divine plan I have for you!
