Steward Your Time and Money
My child, the fourth key to financial freedom is essential. Steward your time and money!
1. Be a good steward
This goes along with (Exodus 20:8-10) Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your emails, not 6 days you shall labor and do ALL your work but the seventh day, is the Sabbath of the Lord your God and in it, you shall do no work. Why do I relate this to stewardship? Because you are stewarding your time. Do you realize you can get more done in six days than you can seven if you rest one day a week? People who rest one day a week are more productive.
The average fast-food company in America makes one million dollars a year. Most of them are open 24 hours a day, but their all open seven days a week, except for one, a Chick-filet, and they’re not open 24 hours a day and their only open six days a week. The average fast-food restaurant makes one million dollars a year and chick-fillet makes five million a year. They make five times more because they obey God’s commandments and honor the Sabbath-keeping it holy and resting one day a week.
This is a lot like tithing, resting one day a week, resting one day a week is believing God can do more in six days than you can in seven. If you want to know how much God can do in six days, read Genesis the 1st chapter, then go outside and look at the stars in the sky, the ocean, majestic mountains, etc.
The reason I say it’s a lot like tithing is when you tithe you believe God can do more with 90% than you can 100%. Let me give you these 3 things All good stewards:
1. Spend wisely
2. Save diligently
3. Give generously
Be a good steward of your time and money and watch God multiply and increase it!
