Step Out in Faith
Beloved, faith is an action word. You can’t sit idle and expect things to change. Put your faith to work and obey whatever the Holy Spirit is instructing you to do. Obedience brings Blessing! Faith matures taking a step at a time. What small thing can you do today to help change the situation you are in presently? Faith is what I know and how I flow! Faith is the confident assurance of what I know and believe. Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1) I believe every Word of the Bible is true! If God says you can do something or have something it is as good as done. (Mark 11:22-24)
When my daughter Karen was growing up spiritually, I would pray and ask God to give her faith builders every day. He did! What is a faith builder? When you pray something and God divinely shows up and answers, it increases your faith. I encourage you to pray over yourself asking God to give you faith builders. Before you know it, you will have great faith. Listen to faith scriptures on a Bible app such as Bible.is because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) Listening to the Bible will increase your faith.
Begin by taking steps daily and begin moving forward. There is an adage that says, ‘inch by inch anything is a cinch, but yard by yard it all gets hard. Be intentional about doing the next thing in front of you. Develop consistent habits to get yourself moving forward again. Take time to look at what God is doing in and through you. He desires for you to depend on and trust Him. (Proverbs 3:1-6) Hebrews 11 is the faith chapter in the Bible. It is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6) Please note the eleventh chapter of Hebrews is the Hall of Faith. It repeatedly says, by faith Abraham. By faith Isaac. By faith Jacob. By faith David. By faith Ester. By faith Ruth. At the end of the chapter go ahead and write your name in, because it will be by faith that you accomplish God’s plan for you!
