Shift the Atmosphere
Beloved one, over the last couple of weeks, I have had several people reach out to me for prayer who are struggling with the spirit of fear. If you look at things in the world, the media and government leaders are imposing ‘fear’, but God! Stop listening to the news, and get your eyes fixed on Jesus and speak His Word. It will shift the atmosphere in your marriage, family, home, business, and finances. Seven people are always watching you; you influence them. You are a bright light shining in the middle of darkness because of this great power from God. (2 Corinthians 4:7)
We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but not driven to despair. We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but not driven to despair. We may be hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. (2 Corinthians 4:8-10) God has not given you a spirit of fear but He gives you power, love, and a sound mind (self-discipline). (2 Timothy 1:7) Because of the price Jesus paid for you and me we have love. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
I am giving you secrets over the next few days to shift the atmosphere everywhere you go.
1. You must take authority and dominion over the spirit of fear immediately, don’t meditate on the thought, the fiery darts of the enemy, and start worrying. This will form a stronghold.
Worrying is the first step in being bound by a spirit of fear. It will become a stronghold if you spend time thinking about the thought the enemy fires at your mind. What is a stronghold? A demonically induced pattern of thinking. (Romans 8:26) says, And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. (Jude 1:20-23 NLT) But you must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.
a. Have you ever considered that one of the most powerful declarations you can make, is very simple? Get up every morning pray, read, or listen to the Word of God and make declarations!
Example: The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever! (Psalms 136:1)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. (Psalms 23:6)
Say this with me: The twin’s goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life!
One of My Favorite daily scriptures I declare: Praise be to God who always causes me to triumph. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)
b. I believe the Lord is emphasizing this word again as a glorious battle cry through His people!
If you can relate to feeling a restriction in the atmosphere, or melancholy, this word of encouragement is for you. For the atmosphere of the Kingdom is “righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (see Rom. 14:17), and you are about to breathe freely of Heaven’s fresh air again. I ask the Holy Spirit to breathe on you today as you declare and receive His Word.
Pray: Father God in the name of Jesus I boldly come before your throne and declare Your Word which empowers me. Holy Spirit, I ask You to breathe on me today as I shift the atmosphere with my words at home, in my marriage, in my family, on the job, in my body, and finances in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Amen.
