Reward Comes When You Buy the Whole Field
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field. “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it! “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind. When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Do you understand all these things?” “Yes,” they said, “we do.” Then he added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.” (Matthew 13:44-52 NLT)
My beloved child, My Son Jesus shared a story: “the Kingdom of God is like a treasure hidden in a field for years and then accidentally found by a trespasser. The finder is ecstatic—what a find! — And he proceeds to sell everything he owns to raise money and buy that field. (Matthew 13:44-45)
“It can also be compared to: God’s kingdom is like a jewel merchant on the hunt for excellent pearls. Finding one that is flawless, he immediately sells everything and buys it. (Matthew 13:45-50) “Lastly, God’s kingdom is like a fishnet cast into the sea, catching all kinds of fish. When it is full, it is hauled onto the beach. The good fish are picked out and put in a tub; those unfit to eat are thrown away. That’s how it will be when the curtain comes down on history. The angels will come and cull the bad fish and throw them in the garbage. There will be a lot of desperate complaining, but it won’t do any good.” (Matthew 13:47-57)
He said, “Then you see how every student well-trained in God’s kingdom is like the owner of a general store who can put his hands on anything you need, old or new, exactly when you need it.” (Matthew 13:52) I am like the treasure in the field, when you get a real glimpse of Me – nothing else matters! You quickly realize the things that used to matter are no longer valuable to you and do not satisfy you. (Romans 8:37-39)
The more you sacrifice and give the more I return to you. Think about all the things I have been speaking to your heart to change in your life! All you must do is walk with Me and talk with Me daily, filling yourself up with My Word and you will begin to see those changes take place in your life. You do not have a choice but to buy the entire field and yes, the price will be great, but the reward will be so sweet. Make the commitment to stay focused and keep on track and commit yourself as I give you a fresh start! (Colossians 3:17)
