Reset Your Mindset
My beloved child, there are two places that battle for predominance in our thinking each day position and condition. Most of the time we are consumed by our condition, which includes our health, appearance, spirituality, finances, and relationships, and the list could go on and on. These ever-changing events in our life create frustration and limitation, freedom, imagination, and possibility are lost because of our constant inner focus on condition. The truth is whether you believe something is possible or impossible, either way, you’ll be right. As a man thinks so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) You can live an empowered life when you realize your position of power. All that God has created to show up in you and through you will manifest in perfect timing and order. Many have made the mistake of making happiness or success dependent upon a thing, place, or person. That is an illusion perpetrated from our lack of purpose and constant bombardment of the advertising world “convincing” us that something is missing in our lives and usually it’s their product!
When you look to someone or something to make you happy you are setting yourself up for disappointment, feelings of inadequacy, conflict, and resentment can be replaced with discovery and “knowing” the peace of God that truly creates an empowered life. Today reset your mindset for miracles! Michelangelo said, “the greater danger is not that your hopes are too high, and you fail to reach them; it’s that they’re too low and you do.” The ability to participate in miracles in your life comes to a mind open to your limitless potential. Refuse to allow yourself to have low expectations about what you’re capable of creating.
“With God all things are possible,” (Matthew 19:26) Tell me, what does that leave out? Not a thing! Understand that what you think about only gets bigger! (As a man thinks so is he). If your thoughts are filled with doubt and fear, you will act and manifest a powerless life and you’ll see proof of your thinking everywhere you are. “Let go and let God!” I understand conditioning has taken place in your life by geography, beliefs of your ancestors, your gender, the color of your skin, and decisions by well-meaning caretakers of the culture. When you let go and decide to position yourself (make no mistake it is a choice) as a creator and recipient of miracles, you will be empowered to visualize yourself as capable of doing anything that you can conceive of in your heart and mind. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister ran the first sub-four-minute mile in recorded history. Up until that moment what was thought impossible became reality and today it is common. Decide today to reset your mindset aligning your mindset with the Word of God. All things are possible if you believe! (Mark 9:23)
