Rejoice!
Precious one knowing how to set yourself free is vital to your future. There are 8 R’s to Freedom:
1. Recognize
2. Responsibility
3. Repent
4. Renounce
5. Remove
6. Resist
7. Rejoice
After you recognize the sin/stronghold, then take responsibility, repented, renounced the sin/stronghold, removed it, and resisted it when it tries to come back – you can rejoice and walk in victory! Paul said, ‘Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice! (Philippians 4:4) Give God all the glory and honor for your new freedom. Thank and praise Him for His grace and mercy toward you. He alone is worthy to be praised!
One of the greatest songs of rejoicing is found in (Isaiah 35:1-10) Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses. Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God. With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.
Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland. The parched ground will become a pool, and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land. Marsh grass and reeds and rushes will flourish where desert jackals once lived. And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.
Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.
One of my favorite things to do is go for long walks in the morning and evening. I especially love the morning because the birds are chirping and singing praises unto the Lord. I love to spend my mornings thanking, praising, and rejoicing in the Lord for being so good to me. He has delivered me of the past, and I walk in the freedom that is only found in Christ Jesus and taking on His identity. Rejoicing in the Lord is powerful because of the power of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Think about it! Only God can deliver, heal, and restore you of all the sins of your ancestors and all the brokenness you have walked through. He has redeemed you!
All because of God’s mercy shown to you, your most reasonable sacrifice is to give yourself back to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship all for His glory! (Romans 12:1) No longer can you fellowship with devils – it must be your priority of things not to do to cast down the enemy of your destiny. You can’t participate with devils and call it a way of life. It is the way to death. It’s not the way of holiness. Christ Jesus is coming back for a bride who is without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. (Ephesians 5:27) Choose life or choose death. it takes a choice. You must decide to live this way, which is contrary to the world around you. These things were provided for you at salvation, and you are fully equipped to live this way if you choose to. Paul said, “The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). If you want to walk in covenant with God for blessing, provision and protection choose life and rejoice!
