Receive the Father’s Love
My beloved stop and introspectively look at your heart. Do you easily receive love from the father, and other’s or is easy for you to give love but hard to receive love? Perhaps you had a father who did not, could not, would not or maybe did not know how to express his love for you or tell you he loved you. I am sorry! A child gets their identity from their dad and influence from their mother. I remember for many years my daughter saying to me, ‘Mom you just can’t receive my love!’ I always disagreed with Karen saying yes, I do! I had no problem giving love, I had an issue blocking me from receiving love. It was when I went through the ‘Be in Health for My Life Conference’ in Georgia that I discovered I had an unloving spirit and root of rejection and a spirit of fear was hiding behind both and that prevented me from receiving not only the Love that the Father pours out on you and me, but also receiving love from others. Though I had been dealing with root issues for years, the time had come to deal with what was at the root of my heart. An unloving spirit, spirit of rejection and both are rooted in fear and had blocked me for years. God delivered me and set me free from those demonic spirits that had held me back from my destiny most of my life. Today I cannot just give love, I can receive it. God desires to deliver you and set you free too.
An unloving spirit toward self, rejection and fear are at the root of addiction, always. Do you struggle with alcohol, drugs, pornography, overeating, sex, or the lusts of the flesh? These are just ways to escape, numb yourself to keep from feeling the pain inside. Pain seeks pleasure, or relief of some sort. I want to ask you a question: ‘what is eating at you?’ Be real! Anything you must have, is an addiction. Addictions are bewitching spirits and that is a spiritual issue that you must deal with. Where there is bewitchment is a strong need to be loved. Our youth, teens and young adults are having sex at a young age, with multiple partners because they are looking for love in the wrong places. They have a misconception that love is sex, which is a big fat lie from the devil. The Bible says, ‘you will be known by your love for one another. (John 13:35, John 3:16) Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8) There is no fear in love. (1 John 4:18-19) Love is not a sex thing, its fornication. God ordained the marriage bed for intimacy between a man and woman and He said, ‘the marriage bed is holy and undefiled.’ (Hebrews 13:4)
An unloving spirit comes from being the victim of the one responsible to cover you as a little boy or girl and did not. Those word curses that were spoken over you as a child and adult by your parents, I break the curse off you. Anything can be evicted, and I evict the spirit of fear that hides behind an unloving spirit toward self and the spirit of rejection, you must go along with all the lies back to drylands in Jesus’ name. I sever at the root, curse and renounce every negative lie spoken over you, fear, unloving spirit toward self and rejection – I command each of you demonic spirits to go back to drylands from whence it came in Jesus’ name and in your place I release the Word of God which has the power to deliver, save, heal and restore you in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Amen. From this day forward you will no longer listen to the record playing: ‘your no good! Your no good! Your no good! I break that record and declare you have the mind of Christ! Find five scriptures about having the mind of Christ and meditate on them daily. You have the power to lay hands on yourself and be set free right where you are.
Lay your hands over your heart, and pray this with me:
Father God, I boldly come before your throne of grace to find mercy and grace. (Hebrews 4:16) I recognize and take responsibility in my life and in my generations for fear, rejection, and an unloving spirit toward myself. I repent for and renounce participating with fear, rejection and an unloving spirit toward myself and others. I as You Father to forgive me. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness and make me white as snow. (1 John 1:9) Deliver me of these generational curses: fear, rejection, and an unloving spirit toward myself that have come down through the bloodline on both sides of my family. I break the curse and in the curses place, I release the Word of God which has the power to deliver me NOW, Save Me Father, heal and restore me in the holy righteous name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Thank you, Father! Amen.
Now, receive this in your heart and allow the healing to begin:
On behalf of your dad, who did not, could not, would not or maybe just didn’t know how to tell you he loved you. I am sorry. I take responsibility of your heart. On behalf of your dad, and every man whoever hurt you I ask you to forgive me. Will you forgive me? If your dad were here with you right now, the truth is, he would say, I am so sorry – will you forgive me?
In the name of Jesus, I release you from all the fear, anxiety, and confusion you experienced as a child.
Repeat, using Mom instead of Dad.
Listen to these words from your dad with your heart:
I love you.
I am so glad you were born.
I am proud of you.
You are/were a good daughter/son.
Please take the time to sit down your children one by one (child or adult) and say:
I love you and I want to tell you I have been looking at my life and my relationship with God. I know there are some places where I fell short as a parent. I want to say I am so sorry for how that has affected you. Will you please forgive me? Then take the time to hug your child and allow the Father to pour out His healing balm of Gilead in the broken places of your child’s life to heal and restore each of them.
I wish I could tell you how many times I have done this with my daughter through the years as the Holy Spirit has convicted me where I missed the mark. It has afforded me to have a beautiful relationship with my daughter because I humbled myself and admitted my mistakes. I pray this blesses you and your children and grandchildren from now till Jesus comes! This could be a life changing devotional, teaching and exercises for you and your family. Use it and share it!
