Promises You Can Count On
If you can believe, all things are possible to Him who believes! (Mark 9:23)
My beloved ALL the promises in God’s Word belong to you as a believer, whether you receive them or not. Their available to you anytime. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to get to Heaven to discover God has so much more with my name on it, but I couldn’t receive it! Do you receive all God has for you? If you can believe, all things are possible to Him who believes! (Mark 9:23) What do you need right now? All you must do is ask, believe God will do what He says He will do, then receive. (Mark 11:22-24) Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting so you will receive. For the uncertain person who believes one minute and doubts the next, being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. When you are half-hearted and wavering, it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition? (James 1:6-8) Ask God for what you need, He is faithful to answer (Matthew 7:7-11) and give you a ‘Faith Builder!’
Many years ago, I was hosting a Leaders Meeting in Scott, Arkansas. A spiritual daughter came to my room early one morning telling me she was struggling with receiving. She said, ‘I love to give, but it’s hard to receive. We prayed and as soon as she left my room suddenly, a bird outside my window began singing loudly, ‘Receive, Receive, Receive!’ Receive, Receive, Receive! Receive, Receive, Receive, Receive. I ran and got her to come back to my room to hear for herself. God was using a bird to get the message to her all she has to do is Receive!
Why don’t people receive? One reason is many believe they are unworthy of God’s goodness and kindness. When you repented of your sins, God buried your sins in the sea of forgetfulness as far as the east is from the west and He remembers them no more. (Psalms 103:12) I break guilt and condemnation off you in Jesus’ name! If that, is you, get over yourself! Forgive yourself for missing the mark and move forward. Sin literally means in Greek, ‘missing the mark!’ Now that you have repented there is no more guilt or condemnation! (Romans 8:1) You are worthy to receive every blessing God has stored up with your name on it! Receive!
If you have a spirit of pride blocking you from receiving, I go to the root of pride and break this ugly spirit off you in the name of Jesus’. I sever pride and unworthiness at the root, and I curse and renounce you and command you to go back to drylands from whence you came in Jesus’ name. In your place, I release the Word of God which has the power to save, deliver, heal, and restore you in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. I declare and decree on the authority of the Word of God you are free and whom the Son has set free is free indeed! Receive! Amen!
