Precious Oil
My child, I see your cry in the midnight hour! I cried out in the garden the night Judas betrayed Me. (Matthew 26:36-46). I asked My Father for an easier way, one that didn’t hurt so much, yet I had to trust His plan and purpose for My life. (Matthew 26:39) I knew that I would only gain victory in the cross. (Colossians 2:6-19) Sometimes we must be crushed – olives are crushed and turned into oil. (Job 24:11-12) I was in anguish when I prayed earnestly in the garden, and My sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.” The sins of the world pressed down on Me with such weight of sorrow that blood squeezed out of Me like oil from crushed olives. That’s precious oil! (Luke 22:44) I had to die Myself and you to must die to your flesh. “For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13) Paul said, ‘I poured out My life as a Love Offering just for You.’ (Philippians 2:17)
How can you pour out your life as a Love Offering? Consecrate yourself before the Lord! When you are in the process of sanctification, and everything that is a stench in the Father’s nostrils in your life is being burned, count it all joy! (James 1:2-8) Recently, while walking through a fire where God was removing things from my life that would hinder what He has planned for my life, in tears – I cried, ‘Father, I count it all joy!’ The Lord showed me when Paul was going through great tests and trials, through great pain He said, ‘count it all joy!’ It is painful to die to yourself when you’re in great pain. You’re having growing pains and developing your endurance. (James 1:3-4)
Jesus said, I know your pain, and I feel your sorrow as your High Priest. I have a supernatural ability to sympathize with your weakness and testing. (Hebrews 4:14 -16) I am capable of empathizing with your situation, and you’re wounding. If it bothers, you; it bothers Me. Give Me the crushing weight of your circumstances and come to Me. (Matthew 11:28). My arms are outstretched, waiting for you to come to Me. Come! Come and allow Me to embrace you and bring healing to your spirit and your soul (mind). Receive mercy and accept My help. Don’t give up! Allow Me to turn your trials into triumphs and your pain into purpose!
