Prayer for Times of Adversity
Lay hands on yourself fill in the blank and Pray:
Father God in the Holy Name of Jesus I come boldly before your throne and I lift up ___ to You, I ask right now that the peace of God that passes all understanding would flow through ____ veins, from the crown of ___ head to the soles of __ feet. Love ____ as only you can. I ask that You would fill ___ to overflow with agape love. (1 Corinthians 13:1:7) LOVE never fails and love is the greatest gift of all. If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love Never Fails!
Father, I praise you that you are preparing ____ for great things, this is just a test and I declare ____ will pass this test so ____ can move forward to the next level. The devil is a liar and the father of lies and I take authority and dominion over the enemy that would come to ___ to wear _____ down and wear ____ out, to discourage ____, frustrate _____, to knock ____ down and knock ____ out to and cause _____ to give up the call and the vision you have given _____. But I recognize the enemy is pulling out all your ammunition against this Mighty Powerful Anointed _____ of God and you have nothing left. Let me remind you Satan ‘____ is still standing because _____ is like a tree planted by the water, _____ shall not be moved because _____ walks by faith and not by sight. You are a defeated foe in _____ and I speak to your spirit man ____ and say rise up and (get up, you have camped here long enough!
Father fill _____ with your unconditional, agape enough – get up! Do you not perceive and know that God is doing a New Thing! See God has set before you the Promised Land. Now go out and possess the Land!) Stop looking at the giants – get up and go in today and possess the land! Don’t settle for where you are – don’t let the devil steal your vision! Get up and go possess the land! God has already given you the authority to take dominion over the enemy and put him under your feet once and for all!
Watch out for the ambush the enemy has set before you! What does an ambush have to do with what you are walking through? An ambush comes in the form of anger, impatience, offense, conflict, strife, division, double-mindedness, fear, envy, jealousy, pride, control, manipulation, intimidation, selfishness, gossip, lies, grudges, unforgiveness, little habits that are not pleasing to God, holding on to things that need to be let go of, not trusting God! Let go of everything and give it to God. You’re anointing and vision is too great to allow the enemy to stop you! Allow God to turn this around and build your character to prepare you for what is ahead. There’s a blessing on the other side of this!
Go ahead and praise the Lord and give the devil a nervous breakdown! Praise is your weapon! Count it all joy for a great blessing is on the other side of this! The devil would say to you – you can’t get there from here. He is a liar; your best is yet to come! God gives you a vision and the devil comes to show you where you are, he wants to wear you out and he wants to give up, but God is saying start where you are, get up, and move forward. Press on! Press through! You shall overcome; there are great things ahead of you!
Read Haggai 2:3-7
Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: According to the word that the Lord covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so my spirit remains among you: fear not. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Be alert, Stand strong, Be firm, Be courageous, and in all you do walk in love!
Three times in Haggai 2:4-5 God said, ‘Be strong, be courageous! God is saying today: Be strong and courageous! You will overcome and I declare you will rise above your storm! Acceleration is upon you… God is accelerating time, season, anointing, divine appointments, favor, and doors opening, but do not cut short the season where you are being pressed on every side, because what is in you is being pressed out! Prepare yourself for your destiny! Do not allow the enemy to put discouragement on you! If the devil has tried to discourage you and get you to give up it’s because he is afraid of you~ Get up! God is about to bless you a thousand times more. (Deuteronomy 1:11)
I declare into the atmosphere you are free and a new and fresh anointing of joy, peace, encouragement is upon you! No more backward steps from this day forward – everywhere the soles of your feet shall walk is yours! Take back what belongs to you!
