One Way!
My precious child, don’t follow a person, follow Jesus. Why? Because people are only humans, and human beings make mistakes and can translate scripture wrong at times. Study the Word of God for yourself to show yourself approved, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) If you don’t study the scriptures, how will you know if someone is deceiving you? Jesus warned us, ‘false Christs shall arise, and false prophets, and will do wonderful miracles so that if it were possible, even God’s chosen ones would be deceived.’ (Matthew 24:24-25)
Jesus said, ‘small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:14) He called this way “the narrow way.” “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction (hell), and many go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, but there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) There is only one way, “Listen to this eternal truth: The person who sneaks over the wall to enter into the sheep pen, rather than coming through the gate, reveals himself as a thief coming to steal. But the true Shepherd walks right up to the gate, and because the gatekeeper knows who he is, he opens the gate to let him in. (John 10:1-3) And the sheep recognize the voice of the true Shepherd, for He calls His own by name and leads them out, for they belong to Him. And when He has brought out all His sheep, He walks ahead of them and they will follow Him, for they are familiar with His voice. But they will run away from strangers and never follow them because they know it’s the voice of a stranger.” Jesus told the Pharisees this parable, but they didn’t understand a word of what He meant. (John 10:4-6)
So, Jesus said it again, “I speak to you, eternal truth: I am the Gate for the flock. All those who broke in before Me are thieves who came to steal, but the sheep never listened to them. I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came to give you life in abundance, more than you expect – life in its fullness until you overflow! (John 10:7-10) “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. You can spot them by their actions, for the fruits of their character will be obvious. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. So, if the tree is good, it will produce good fruit; but if the tree is bad, it will bear only rotten fruit and deserves to be cut down and burned. You’ll know them by the obvious fruit of their lives and ministries.” (Matthew 7:7-20) 0ne
