Melchizedec
Beloved one Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God, the Most-High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything he owned. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without a father or mother, without genealogy, without the beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave, recognized, and honored who he was and gave him a tenth of the plunder! (Hebrews 7:1-10)
Offerings are above the tithe. This is how God operates. Otherwise, we are robbing God. (Malachi 3:8-12) After you have tithed the blessing comes when you give offerings. God increases the offerings and multiplies them back to you. It’s so important to get your finances in order by getting out of debt. Only borrow for items that appreciate, not on items that depreciate. Don’t manipulate to get money! Manipulation is the same as witchcraft. (1 Samuel 15:23) Give! (Luke 6:38) If you honor God and obey His commands, He will multiply your resources and amaze you. (Joshua 1:7-9) It really does work! He desires to bless you to be a blessing!
God will tell you when and where to give. I never have a financial requirement to go anywhere and minister the gospel other than transportation and accommodations for where is your faith if you place a demand on a specific amount. What if God wants to bless you exceedingly and abundantly? (Ephesians 3:20) During the many years of ministry, there have been many times when I returned home that literally, I paid the people for me to come, minister. Interestingly though while I am gone or during the trip – the Holy Spirit will speak to someone most often that I don’t even know to sow a seed that meets my needs. God is a faithful God! He desires to be faithful to you – Trust Him!
I immediately pray over and bless each ‘Love Gift’ that comes into this ministry and call it holy because God calls it holy. Then I pray and bless it asking God to multiply and bring the increase on your behalf. Whose finances begin multiplying? The one who obeys God and sows the sacrificial seeds! Never miss an opportunity to be blessed. We are all blessed to be a blessing. It is not the heart of God for anyone to struggle financially. If you are under a curse of poverty and struggle financially pray, break the curse, and start obeying the Word by sowing your tithe and offering. Watch God! Prove Him in your finances! (Malachi 3:10-18)
Extravagant givers can ask for anything and God will give it to you! (John 16:23-24) It’s all God’s money anyway. God asked Solomon what he wanted, and he asked for: He asked for wisdom and understanding, but God said, you could have asked for so much more. I’m giving you wisdom and understanding but I am giving you the wealth too! God desires to give you wealth. It all comes from God, and He knows whom He can trust with wealth. (2 Chronicles 7-12)
