Let Your Faith Grow
Precious child, I have great news for you today, God will never leave you nor forsake you and you will never be alone. He is with you, and He goes with you everywhere you go. (Genesis 28:15, Deuteronomy 31:6) We couldn’t be content in every circumstance we face if He wasn’t with us. We have God the Father, the fountain of life, the provider of every good and perfect thing with us and He will never leave or abandon us. (Hebrews 13:5) Why? Because He cares about you and every detail of your life! What a good, good, Father He is. I don’t know about you, but He is so good to me. Things do not have a hold on me, how about you? If you lost everything, and I mean everything, but you still have God, how would you be? Would you be good with that?
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalms 37:23) Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. (Psalms 37:24) The Lord, He is my rock, my fortress, and my Savior, and yours; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. We have nothing to fear. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalms 18:2) He is all that and so much more to you and me. Take a sheet of paper and write down 10 things that God is to you. I just named at least 10 things God is to me.
God created you and me to be completely dependent upon Him – that’s how your faith grows! (Hebrews 11:1, 6) How do you get strong faith? One way is by trusting God in the valleys not just on the mountaintops. Another way is by reading and hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) Faith never knows where it is being led but knows the One who is leading. Let your faith roots go down into Him and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:7) Trust God! He will not fail or disappoint you! Do you believe that?
