Learn the Secret to Your Prayers Being Answered.
Look at Job 42:8-10
My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. (V. 8) So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer. 10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
Beloved one, it’s been a long time since I prayed for myself, I pray for others and God heals me. When you get your focus off yourself and pray for others when you are suffering from loss and in pain God will touch you and restore you.
1. Pray for others instead of praying for yourself.
In 2012, I was in North Little Rock, Arkansas doing a Women’s Retreat. I woke up the first morning and thought I had been bit by a spider many times in the night. Around my left eye, forehead, hair, and ear were many red bumps that hurt badly. I pressed into the Father and ministered the entire Retreat. After the Retreat, I drove 45 minutes to my sister’s home and went to bed. Upon my arrival a spiritual daughter from Laredo, Texas sent a package with a life-changing CD by Sid Roth, Healing Scriptures set to music. I asked my sister for a CD player and immediately I began playing it softly next to my right ear 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Monday morning, I went to the doctor to find out what was happening, and the diagnosis was shingles. I was confined to bed for 90 days at my sister’s home and had high doses of painkillers and medicine for the shingles to dry them up. I lost my vision and hearing on the left side. While lying there in bed, I would speak the Word and pray for other people.
God answered so many prayers while I was confined to bed. My sister was falsely sued for a lot of money and vindicated in the court of law. My brother came to Christ. My niece had miscarriages and issues getting pregnant, I prayed for her and had a vision of her with a little boy in her arms. I told her I didn’t know what year she would get pregnant, but she was going to have a baby and it would be a little boy. He would be born around the end of October because he was wearing a pumpkin suit and he was tiny. She conceived a child, and he was born early September 13th and when the end of October came around – he was the size he was in the vision. It was a six-month process but God completely healed and restored me and He desires to heal and restore you. All you have to do is ask the Father in Jesus’ name and He will heal and restore you.
I know firsthand praying for others when I am in great pain and suffering is a secret to receiving what God has for me. Being others-focused instead of focused on self will set you free and God will give you double for your trouble like He did Job. (Job 42:10) Pray for others and intercede for them.
