Knowledge + Understanding = Wisdom
Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! So, with your wisdom, develop common sense and good judgment. If you exalt wisdom, she will exalt you. Hold her fast, and she will lead you to great honor; she will place a beautiful crown upon your head. (Proverbs 4:7-9 LB)
My beloved child wisdom is the principal thing, so, in all your getting get wisdom. Exalt her, and she will promote you. She will bring you honor when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you.”(Proverbs 4:7-9 NKJV) Knowledge is the accumulation of information, understanding is the grasping, comprehension, and interpretation of that information, but wisdom is the application of the information that one understands. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 1:7) For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6)
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. (Proverbs 3:13-18) Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget My words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding! Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown. (Proverbs 4:5-9)
A person of understanding delights in wisdom. (Proverbs 10:23) He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, but he who is impulsive exalts folly. A sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones. (Proverbs 14:29-30) “True wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. (Job 12:13) When You end up on the witness stand, called to testify. Make up your mind right now not to worry about it. I’ll give you the words and wisdom that will reduce all your accusers to stammers and stutters. (Luke 21:15b Message) If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get His help, and He won’t be condescending to you when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and He will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. (James 1:5)
