Jesus Shed His Blood
The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8 NLT)
My precious child Jesus paid a great price for you to be healed and walk in wholeness in every area of your life. He shed His blood in seven places for your freedom:
1. Jesus shed His blood in the Garden of Gethsemane to redeem you from your will.
He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” (Matthew 26:39 NLT)
2. Jesus was beaten, to break the curse of sickness and disease from your life.
He carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds, you are healed. (1 Peter 2:24 NLT)
3. The crown of thorns was placed on Jesus’ brow, to break the curse of poverty and release you into God’s abundance.
Then to Adam the Lord God said, “Because you have listened [attentively] to the voice of your wife, and have eaten [fruit] from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’; the ground is [now] under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil you shall eat [the fruit] of it, all the days of your life. “Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field. “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. (Genesis 3:17-18 Amplified)
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 NLT)
4. Jesus’ hands were pierced by the nails, to restore total dominion to the works of your hands.
The Lord will make you the head (leader) and not the tail (follower), and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully. Do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or to the left, to follow and serve other gods. (Deuteronomy 28:12-13 Amplified)
5. Jesus’ feet were nailed to the cross, to restore total dominion in your walk.
I have given you every place on which the sole of your foot treads, just as I promised to Moses. (Joshua 1:3 Amplified)
6. The spear was thrust through Jesus side, showing that He died from a broken heart, to heal your broken heart.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah) because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy). (Luke 4:18 Amplified)
7. Jesus bled on the inside when He was beaten to break every iniquity, the inner drive of sin, from your life.
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NLT)
Sin means to miss the mark – iniquity sin that is a premeditated sin. A transgression is a sin breaking a command or law. Transgressions are not easily forgiven, sin against God. It is lawlessness. Jesus was bruised, beaten, broken, nailed, pierced and bled for you and me to be free of the curse and walk in the blessing. The decisions we make create our circumstances. Are you living under the curse or the blessings? Close any opened doors you may have knowingly or unknowingly opened, repent and renounce the curse and begin today walking in the blessings of the Lord!
