Jehovah Nissi
My child, there are many names of you can call Me, but when you are going through a battle, call on Me for I am Yahweh Nissi. I am the Lord your banner. Never forget when the enemy comes in like a flood; I will raise up a standard against your enemies and fight the battle for you. Do not allow anything to distract you from My still small voice. I am waiting and listening for you to call My Name. Remember Joshua did what Moses ordered to fight Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went to the top of the hill. It turned out that whenever Moses raised his hands, Israel was winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, Amalek was winning. After a while, Moses’ hands got tired. So, they got a stone and set it under him. He sat on it and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on each side. So, his hands remained steady until the sun went down. Joshua defeated Amalek and its army in battle. (Exodus 17:10-13 Message)
Then the Lord God Almighty said to Moses, ‘Write this up as a reminder to Joshua, to keep it before him, because I will most certainly wipe the very memory of Amalek off the face of the Earth.” Moses built an altar and named it “Yahweh Nissi, God My Banner.” He said, Salute God’s rule! God at war with Amalek Always and forever! (Exodus 17:14-16 Message) Are you in a battle? Call on Jehovah Nissi and He will fight the battle for you. You won’t even have to lift a finger. Only be still! (Exodus 14:14 NLT)
