Beloved do you know what Rosh Hashanah is and why is it celebrated? Rosh Hashanah is Happy Birthday to the World! It is the day God created Adam and Eve and the first day on the Hebrew Calendar. It is the ‘head of the year’ the same as we celebrate New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, January 1 you celebrate New Year’s Day. Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on the 18^th to sundown on the 19^th of September 2020, it’s a special day to celebrate the Birthday of the world! It is the year 5781, (2021 on our calendar in January)- means God’s mouth, it is the year to agree with God and speak His Word in order to overcome! Who will agree with God? Jesus said, ‘I only say what the Father tells Me.’ (John 12:49) Find promises that God has given you and speak them out of your mouth, literally your mouth becomes a two-edged sword when you speak what God spoke. (Hebrews 4:12, Revelations 1:16) Speak God’s Word when you experience warfare, remember we are overcomers by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony and what is coming out of your mouth. (Revelation 12:11) It is the word of your testimony that helps you overcome!

Find scripture to declare over your situation to overcome. God says, ‘remind Me of my word.’ (Isaiah 43:26) We are not just to speak the Word, but it is a great encouragement to your mind, body and spirit when you hear what God says. It also increases your faith. How? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) 5871 (2021) Is connected to the eye – you must watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation this year. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41) Watch that you do not enter into temptation. Another is plow or a weapon. Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62) It is also a year to put on the whole armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Put on the whole armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand, stand firm! (Ephesians 6:11) Be alert! (1 Corinthians 16:13-14) This is a year you will need to battle in the spiritual realm to be victorious in the natural. You will see God will separating the wheat from the tare, the goats from the sheep. Guard your heart and separate yourself from those who are gossips and negative.

Rosh Hashanah is also known as Yom Teruah – Day of blowing the Shofar, Yom Hazikaron – Day of Remembrance, the day God recalls the deeds, behaviors of each and every one of His creation. Lastly, Yom Harat Olam – The World’s Birthday. Rosh Hashanah is a two-day celebration where Jews celebrate four holidays:

1. Rosh Hashanah – A day to inspire renewed hope and a sense of rebirth the same as New Year’s Day in our country. It is a time of candlelight prayer services, the blowing of the shofar, (a ram’s horn) eating festive meals and going to a body of running water before sunset, where they symbolically cast off their sins.

The purpose of blowing the shofar is always to awaken the heart and remind you to repent of your sins. It’s an unusual rousing sound, much like a siren for the soul, waking you up to a higher purpose. Festive meals are served such as apples dipped in honey with challahs bread, fish and pomegranate.! The Blessings of God is released over you and your family by the head of the home or in a synagogue. Numbers 6:24-26) Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this occasion.

The nation of Israel is compared to the apple tree, the rarest and beloved among trees, (Song of Solomon 2:3) that is the why apples are dipped in honey to symbolize the sweet year ahead. Symbolic foods eaten on Rosh Hashana is: if you desire to be a leader, you eat the head of the fish, not the tail. Eating the whole fish on Rosh Hashanah symbolizes fertility and abundance. A fisheye is always open, and that symbolizes knowledge. A pomegranate is said to have 613 seed. It is a symbol of prosperity and fertility. Rosh Hashana is a time to express your gratitude to God the Father for being so good to you and your family and thank Him for all the many blessings He has bestowed on you, which is the same as what we should do in every nation, every tribe and tongue. Be blessed! Shalom! (Numbers 6:24-26)

My Daily Declarations

Pray this out loud over your day:

Father God, I come boldly before your throne (Hebrews 4:16) and thank you for this beautiful day as I dedicate it to You! I declare and decree on the authority of the Word of God I am healthy, I am wealthy in every area of my life, and I am wise beyond my years. I have great discernment and receive revelation as I study the Word of God.

I boldly confess I am loved, called and chosen. I am anointed, appointed, equipped and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit that works mightily within me. I am a carrier of the fire of the Holy Ghost igniting the flame in others, everywhere I go. I declare and decree I live, breathe, move and serve powerfully under the shelter of the Jehovah Yahweh. (Psalms 91)

I declare I believe God’s Word is true and I am who God’s Word says I am, I can have what God’s Word says I have. I can do what God’s Word says I can do. I am rich in every way and generous on every occasion. There is no lack in Heaven, I remove every block and hinderance releasing all the resources with my name on it. I say laborers come forth to help me build the Kingdom of God therefore it is established in Jesus name. (Matthew 9:35-38) I am the child of a King, therefore I will not leave home without wearing my invisible crown.

I am healed and whole in every area of my life. God has called me to be a healer and deliverer to set His people free from every form of earthly bondage. He has chosen me to pull leaders up, push them out and position them for their purpose and calling as Jesus did. I have entered the ‘Rest of God’ and I am staying in that peaceful place and I declare I will not allow the enemy to rock my world.(Hebrews 4:1-16) Peace belongs to me because I am a blood bought daughter of a King, therefore I trust you Abba Father. I value and sense Your presence today Father. The Holy Spirit lives within me, He goes before me, walks beside me and He is my rear guard. (Isaiah 58:8, Isaiah 52:12) You O’ Lord order my steps and my stops. (Psalms 37:23)

I declare and decree on the authority of the Word of God I am favored, I have favor with both God and man in all I do in Jesus name. I am blessed and highly favored of the Lord. (Proverbs 3:3-4)

I declare divine spiritual order in my home, body, life and family. I am renewing my mind daily, disciplining myself by washing it with the Word. I guard my heart for out of me flows a well spring of life not the issues of life because I am healed and whole in every area of my life because You O’ Lord are the CEO and President of my life. I declare divine protection and restoration over my family and I today. Divine appointments are happening every where I go.

I declare and decree that No weapon formed against my family and I can prosper or succeed and every tongue that (speaks against) rises up against us in judgement we condemn it, for this is the heritage of the children of the Most High God. (Isaiah 54:17) I declare and decree that me and my house shall be saved, every single member of my family, not one member of my family will perish in Jesus name. I release them now to the Father and I trust you Father God with them. (Acts 6:31) I walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) I trust God with everything that goes on in my life and with each member of my family because God is at work turning all things around for my good and His glory because I love Him. (Romans 8:28)

I seal my declarations with the Blood of Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit which empowers me therefore it is established this day in the Holy Righteous name of Jesus. Amen.
