God has a Plan, Do You Trust Him?
Beloved one, I am nudged by the Holy Spirit to address fear in the midst of thousands, if not millions of Texans and those of you in other states who have suffered great loss of any form. Those who have had no power for 7 days and no water due to the ice/snow storm and history breaking low temperatures. Including those of you who have lost everything you own, gone through a divorce, or lost a loved one this is for you. Many Texans have flooding now from busted water pipes and their homes are disastrous. We are praying for you! I personally have been blessed to be in Tennessee helping a spiritual daughter recover from a knee replacement and the loss of her only child/a son – and I am not taking for granted having power and water. Through this difficult time, we have ministered to almost every person who has walked through the door and fed them. God has opened doors of opportunity in an area we have prayed for years and I have ministered four times in services. (1 Corinthians 16:9) In addition, we have had divine meetings here at her home as people come by to pay their respect. We have had church! Much healing and deliverance have taken place.
In the midst of God moving mightily, I received a call from my daughter on the 17th of February that my house was flooded from a broken water pipe and the ceiling in the living room had fallen. Her words, Mom it’s disastrous. Due to bad weather, the airlines have all been shut down and I can’t live in my house. It may be a complete loss of everything I own, but God! We know that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord, and those who are called according to His purposes. (Romans 8:28) We may not know how God is going to work it all out for good and for His glory, but this I know – He will! I had a moment! Then I picked myself up in faith and refocused my sight on the only One who can change my circumstances. I trust Him even when it looks like there’s no way – He is the waymaker!
I shared this scripture with someone close to me Tuesday walking through a challenge, (Exodus 14:14) The Lord will fight for you, you won’t even have to lift a finger, only be still! Wednesday they called and gave it back to me. (Genesis 50:20) You Mr. Devil intended this to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, saving many lives. (Proverbs 6:31) The enemy when caught must pay back seven times what he has stolen from you. These are scriptures I am standing on at this time and I recommend you do likewise, no matter the challenges you are facing!
I live in the place of rest and being still in my spirit man. What does that mean? I am cocooned with God under the cleft of the rock, in that place where I have so much peace no matter what happens it does not rock my world! How about you. (Read Hebrews 4 about the place of rest.) We are living in that day, where God is releasing His rest and it’s yours for the asking. Have I cried? Yes! However, My faith has never been stronger. I believe with every fiber of my being God is trying to get a greater blessing to me and those of you who have lost so much. I am not attached to things, but when you lose it all overnight, and you have no clue where you are going to live, it can be challenging! However, I trust God! I am so grateful for the blessings I do have. My daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are alive and healthy through this intense storm. God has not caused any of this. How do I know? (James 1:17) says every good and perfect gift comes from above. So if it is not good and it is not perfect then it must come from the enemy of your destiny who is trying to stop you! But He can’t! God has a plan for you and He’s not changed His mind!
The lyrics to this song by Jason Crabb has ministered to me during this season and I pray it ministers to you:
So many times I question the certain circumstances
And things I could not understand.
Many times in trials my weakness blurs my vision
And that’s when my frustration gets so out of hand.
It’s then I am reminded, I’ve never been forsaken.
I’ve never had to stand one test alone.
As I look at all the victories, the Spirit rises up in me.
And It’s through the fire my weakness is made strong.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb.
He never offered a victory without fighting.
He said help would always come in time.
Just remember when you’re standing in the valley of decision
And the advisory says give in, Just hold on.
Our Lord will show up (Yeah)
And He will take you through the fire again
I know within myself that I would surely perish
If I trust the hand of God, He’ll shield the flame again.
Just hold on, Our Lord will show up (Yeah)
And He will take you through the fire again
In closing my heart is so heavy for those of you who have lost loved ones. Three people contacted me last night with the loss of a brother or 1st cousin. We are praying for you. I challenge you to stop what you’re doing and have a Gratitude Break! Tell the Father thank you for keeping you! Have an attitude of gratitude for what is most important in your life and watch God bless it!
Pray with me:
Father God thank you for being so good to my family and me. Thank you for divine favor, increase, blessing, protection, peace, provision, and perfect health. What the enemy has meant for my harm I thank you for turning it around for my good and your glory. Thank you for making a way where there seems to be no way. I am yielded to You, Your Plan, Your Way, and not my will Lord but thy will be done in Jesus name. You are a good good Father and you are so good to me in Jesus’ most holy name!
