God Created You for His Pleasure
My beloved child your relationship with Me is alive, it’s living, breathing, and requires nourishment to survive. You give out of your spirit into all you do, much like a brook pours into a creek, a creek flows into a lake, and a lake flow into a river. Constantly you are giving out of your spirit in all that you do. When you are continually giving out you can drain your reserves. I always want you full – and you fill up as you renew your spirit and mind daily with My Word and in My presence. You must find a quiet place to enjoy My presence. You will not find Me in the noise and busyness of your day. You’re a life-giving river of living water. To fill up you must get away from people in a quiet place and I will fill you to overflow then you can go back out to pour out then you must come back in and fill up before you can go back out to pour out! Then fill up again – this is to become your lifestyle says the Father!
The most important thing you do is spend focused time with me. It’s not about your work. I created you for My great pleasure. (Revelations 4:11, Proverbs 16:4) All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore, we do not lose heart and become discouraged. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
(2 Corinthians 4: 14-17 NIV)
So, here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life – your sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking around life and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you and develops well-formed maturity in you. (Romans 12:1-2 The Message)
