Faith is…
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. (Romans 4:20-21 NLT)
My beloved when I give you a promise you receive it by faith as a gift. You can stand on it. A man who modeled great faith was Abraham; he is the father of all who believe. (Romans 4:16 NLT) That’s what the Scriptures mean when I the Lord your God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” Abraham believed in Me, the One who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. (Romans 4:17 NLT) Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping – believing that he would become the father of many nations. For I said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” (Romans 4:18 NLT) I would have you call those things in your life that be not (or look dead) as though they were.

3. Abraham was not weak in faith; he didn’t consider his hundred-year-old body,
4. nor did he consider Sarah’s ninety-year-old body dead.
