Entering the Presence of God
Beloved one, God inhabits the praises of His people, but if you want to move the heart of God it will always be in your worship. He is looking for one of His children who will spend intimate
time with Him in worship. Many years ago, I discovered the Word of God is a book of instructions, but you must read it to find out what to do in every situation in life. God is a God
of order and in heaven there is proper order and protocol. God even instructs us through His Word how to enter His presence. We know the first two steps to entering God’s presence. First,
we enter the gates of Heaven with thanksgiving and then secondly, we enter His courts with praise. (Psalms 100:4)
Begin each day with thanksgiving and praise. Thirdly as you praise Him and go into worship you move from the outer court to the Holy Place where the table, lampstand, candelabra, and showbread are toward the veil. (Hebrews 9:2) As you move
through the veil, the veil that was ripped from top to bottom the moment Jesus died and gives you access to walk into the throne room of God, a Holy Hush will come upon you. Silence.
You have entered the Most Holy Place; the throne room of God and you are in His very presence. (Matthew 27:50-51, Hebrews 9:4-5)
1. Enter His gates with thanksgiving. (Psalms 100:4)
2. Enter His courts with praise. (Psalms 100:4)
3. Enter the Holy Place in worship. (Hebrews 9:2)
4. As you go through the veil, your worship will turn to a holy silence listening for the voice of God.
(Matthew 27:50-51, Hebrews 9:3)
5. As you pass the golden altar of incense and the Ark of the Covenant you have entered the Most Holy Place right into the Throne Room of God. (Hebrews 9:4-5)
There is no place sweeter than spending time in God’s presence. When you enter His presence honestly it is as though there is no need to say much because there is an overwhelming sense, He knows everything you need. You can talk to God anywhere. Remember this, ‘prayer is when you talk to God and meditation is when you listen to what He has to say to you.’ Enjoy His presence today whether in your car going to and from work, or just talking to Him throughout your day. Enoch was called a righteous man because he walked and talked with God all day long and you can too!
