Easter – Celebrate! Your Savior Has Risen!
My child Jewish Christians were the first to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah in relation to Passover or a Christian festival known as ‘Pascha’ in Hebrew, meaning Easter. It is written… at the end of the Passover Seder (the Last Supper), Jesus the Messiah and the Disciples sang a song. The Word to describe the Greek song is ‘Humnos’ – ‘Humnos’ was used to speak of Psalms. It was ordained from the ancient of days that the Passover Seder would end with singing songs specifically from (Psalms 118). This is extremely important because it contains the words ‘the stone that the builders rejected as flawed has now become the chief cornerstone, and this was all My doing. (Psalms 118:22-23)
My Word was fulfilled on that Passover – right after My Son, Jesus, the Messiah, and His Disciples finished the Last Supper by singing the song. They went to the Mount of Olives, where He was arrested, rejected, betrayed, abandoned, and falsely accused. (Luke 22:7-38) He was bruised, beaten, and broken for you to be healed and whole in every area of your life; then He was crucified – the embodiment of rejection. (Isaiah 53:2-6) Yet He ended up becoming the chief cornerstone of your faith and of mankind throughout the world. (Hebrews 13:10-14) He arose on the third day and ascended and is now seated at My right-hand interceding for you at this very moment. (1 Corinthians 15:4) Think about it… ‘One day, every tribe, nation and tongue including the devil will bow to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and confess Jesus Christ as Lord!’ (Philippians 2:10-11)
The most significant life-changing event in the universe is that of a Jewish Rabbi – the chief cornerstone was rejected. If you have suffered being rejected, betrayed, abandoned, and falsely accused, you are in good company! (Luke 4:14-30) Come to Me, and I will heal and restore you. The target of man’s hatred becomes the center of My Love and a vessel for My glory! Today make Jesus your Chief Cornerstone in everything you do – that is your foundation! (1 Peter 2:4-8)
