Don’t Worry!
Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ.
(2 Corinthians 2:14 Amplified)
My beloved give thanks to God who always causes you to triumph! Paul went to Troas to proclaim the Good News the Message of the Messiah. Upon his arrival he found the place wide open, God had opened the door, and all he had to do was walk through it! However, he couldn’t find Titus his spiritual son anywhere, he couldn’t rest, and he had no peace in his spirit. He was worried about Titus! Instead of walking through the open door, God had opened for him, he left for Macedonia looking for Titus. (2 Corinthians 2:12-13)
Has God ever opened a door for you and because of worry over children, marriage, finances, or any number of reasons you did not walk through it? It’s not over if you miss God or blow it, repent, get up and dust yourself off and pick yourself up by the bootstraps and get yourself going again! Go back to the last instruction the Father gave you and act upon it and get moving again. Don’t beat yourself up because you missed the mark! Repent, forgive yourself and get moving! Paul didn’t stop moving forward; he didn’t beat himself up because he was attacked with worry and did not walk through the door in Troas! No! He kept on moving forward, and it is time for you to move forward!
This is my twenty-second year in ministry. I wish I could tell you the open doors God has set before me through the years that were hard for me to walk through because of a family. I pressed through and I confess it has broken my heart to miss special events for my grandchildren. The Lord and I have had many conversations about each event. He continually said, ‘Judy, you go take care of My sons and daughters and I will take care of yours.’ I have boarded planes in tears, to go take care of God’s sons and daughters. And you know what I do not regret one moment of ‘obeying’ God and walking through every door He has set before me. I am not worried about my family, I trust God to do what He said, long after I am gone, ‘He will take care of my family, and He will take care of your family if you trust Him no matter what it looks like.’ That’s called faith!
Father God planned your life from the foundations of the earth, and nothing and no one can stop His plan. Look what Paul says next, ‘thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ! (2 Corinthians 2:14) God ALWAYS causes you to triumph in Christ! Praise be to God who always causes you to triumph in Christ Jesus, and He manifests Himself through His knowledge by you every place you go! He releases His sweet fragrance (Love) in you and as believers which draws the lost to us. (2 Corinthians 2:15)
In the Messiah, in Christ, He leads you from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. (2 Corinthians 2:14 Message) Can you see this? Everywhere you go there is a continuous victory parade! You are a walking, talking, breathing epistle of the Word of God because you have hidden the Word of God in your heart. The only Bible many ever read is you! They look at the good change in your heart and see that you are a letter from Christ. It’s not written with pen and ink, but the Spirit of the Living God, not one carved on stone but in your human heart. (2 Corinthians 3:1-3) Everywhere you go, people are watching the continuous victory parade you are!
