Chosen for a Purpose
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
(John 14:12-14 NLT)
Beloved child, I have called many, but few are chosen because they do not want to go through the process of being prepared. They’re unwilling to pay the price of the anointing! I chose you to be My mouthpiece on the earth. What do I look for when I choose someone? I look for a man/woman who has a heart after Me just like David. (Acts 13:22,1 Samuel) A man/woman who has a character who is:
1. Humble (Psalms 62:9)
2. Repentant (Psalms 25:11)
3. Reverent (Psalms 18:3)
4. Respectful (Psalms 31:9)
5. Loving (Psalms 18:1)
6. Compassionate (Psalms 145:8-9, Colossians 3:12)
7. Devoted (Psalms 4:7)
8. Faithful (23:6)
9. Obedient (Psalms 119:34)
10. Trusting (Psalms 27:1)
I am looking for a man/woman who desires to bring pleasure and amuse Me – I am searching for you! (Psalms 37:4-5) Which of the above areas do you need to focus on and improve? It is not about you and it’s not about a platform. I have called those who have a heart of love and compassion for the broken, the sick, and the lost. When I find such a one, I choose and anoint them to preach the good news daily in their sphere of influence through their actions and attitudes, and when necessary, they use words. David was a man after My heart! His life is a roadmap for the way to live.
In every facet of life – I use people to be light daily! No matter what your vocation is, you can be a light. A light is someone who influences co-workers, friends, and family by allowing My love to flow through them to others. Then the anointing is activated by studying the Bible, God’s Holy Word (Romans 4:17, 20-22) expressing your faith (Romans 10:17), and walking it out (Hebrews 11:27) every day.
So, what is the purpose of the anointing? God anoints leaders to empower them to speak the Word of God supernaturally and to wrought miracles just like Jesus. The same resurrection power that lived in Jesus that raised Him from the dead lives in you! Yes! I have called you to resurrect the dead, and heal the blind, lame, and deaf, and nothing is too hard for Me if you believe. (Jeremiah 32:17) The same miracles Jesus did when on earth, I have anointed you to do even greater miracles than He!
