Authority
My beloved child, it’s time to be awakened by the Spirit and go to another level so you can receive your orders to carry out My Mission. In the army, the one who has the most authority is the General, and he submits to no other rank and exercises his power over every other rank. The one with no authority in the army is the Private, and he submits to all other ranks; he has no power over anyone. There is a time when a Private exercises authority. That is only when he carries out the General’s Orders – in that Mission he carries out the General’s command. Every rank, including the Captain and the Colonel, must submit to the authority of the General. You have been given Orders, and I have a Mission for you to carry out. As you proceed forward fulfilling My assignment, you will walk in My authority. (Matthew 29:18-20)
Before the General, every gate and door must be unlocked and open for him to walk through. In the Universe, I am the General – your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I have ALL authority! You have the least authority as a man on earth; however, when you yield to My will and start carrying out My Orders, you will walk in My Authority. When you walk in My authority, all doors and Every gate will open up before you walk through. If you live outside My will, you will walk in the Private’s authority and have no power. When you obey ALL My Commands, you will have My authority and walk-in My power! Only when you obey My commands will you walk inside My will and have My authority. (Joshua 1:7-9) Every rank in the Universe must yield to you, and every door will open before you! You will then walk in My power, and the glory will fall in My presence. Make it your aim to fully obey My commands and carry out the Mission I have for you – walk in My authority! (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a Roman centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” We know this man was not a believer because he calls Jesus ‘Lord.’ Lord means ‘one in authority!’ He recognized that Jesus had authority. (Matthew 8:5-6) Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” But the officer said, ‘Lord, I am not worthy to have You come into my home. Just say the word from where You are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under my superior officers’ authority, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” (Matthew 8:7-9) When Jesus heard this, He was amazed. Turning to those following him, He said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel! And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. But many Israelites—those for whom the Kingdom was prepared—will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour. (Matthew 8:10-13)
