Are You a General?
“I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth.” (Romans 9:17 NLT)
My beloved child, are you a General? Do you know how you become a General in the military or in the Spiritual realm? It takes 20 to 30 years to climb the ranks to become a general. A General will have four silver stars on their uniform to reflect they have fought and won four battles. Ultimately it is the same spiritually. Perhaps you are a general in the making. If you go through a battle, get discouraged and give up you will never become a general in the army of the Lord. As I look over my life and perhaps you can to at the major battles you have fought and won! There were moments it looked like the enemy was going to win. However, if you remain focused on God, in the Word, and steadfast in faith you will have victory. The secret is don’t give up no matter what it looks like, stay in the Word, steadfast in faith, and focused on the Creator of the universe. It’s time to be awakened by the Spirit and go to another level so you can receive your orders to carry out My Mission says the Lord. (Romans 9:17)
In the army the one who has the most authority is the General and he submits to no other rank and exercises his power over every other rank. Spiritually I have given you authority over the enemy and keep him under your feet. (Luke 10:19) The one with no authority in the army is the Private and he submits to all other ranks – he has no power over anyone. There is a time when a Private exercises authority and that is only when he carries out the Orders of the General – in that Mission he carries out the General’s authority. (1 Peter 4:11) Every rank including the Captain and the Colonel must submit to the authority of the General. You have been given Orders and I have a Mission for you to carry out. (2 Corinthians 5:20) As you proceed forward fulfilling My assignment, you will walk in My authority. Before the General every gate and door must be unlocked and open. In the Universe I am the General – your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I have ALL authority! (Psalms 145:13)
You have the least authority as a man on earth however when you yield to My will and start carrying out My Orders then you will walk in My Authority. When you walk in My authority ALL doors and Every gate will open before you to walk through. (Revelations 3:8) If you live outside My will you will walk in the authority of the Private who has no authority. When you obey ALL My Commands you will have My authority and walk in My power! (Ephesians 1:18-23) Only when you obey My commands will you walk inside My will and have My authority. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Every rank in the Universe must yield to you and every door will open before you! You will then walk in My power and the glory will fall in your presence. (Ephesians 2:4-7) Make it your aim to fully obey My commands and carry out the Mission I have for you – walk in My authority!
