Activate Your Words

As a man thinks, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7)

Precious one the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of words that must be activated by speaking them out loud. Then we are instructed to meditate on the Word of God, day and night (Joshua 1:8-9), and make declarations over our family and self. It all begins by renewing your mind. (Romans 12:1-2) Get up every morning and wash your mind with the Word. (Ephesians 5:26) Stop thinking about your thoughts and start meditating on scripture. The mind is the devil’s playground, but we have the authority to take dominion over our thoughts lest they become strongholds. What is a stronghold? A demonically induced pattern of thinking, and a stronghold is hard to break. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have the divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) Put on the whole armor of God so you can quench the fiery darts of the devil. (Ephesians 6:15) You are a secret weapon with the Word inside you!

Try focusing on one scripture every day, all day long, it helps me to memorize scripture. Since October 6, 2012, I listen to healing scriptures on my I-pod set to the music softly playing 24 x 7. At that time, I was attacked, losing my eyesight, and hearing due to shingles around my eyes and ears. I lay in a dark room listening to healing scripture and speaking it out for six months. Not once did it ever cross my mind that I would not be healed. After six months of bed rest, God healed and restored me. For more than ten years, I have listened to Word day and night. The Word goes in me while I sleep. Why? It is the Word of God that has the power to heal me, and it will be the Word of God that will keep me healed!

My eye doctor told me recently, ‘You have the ‘cleanest eyes’ he’s ever seen for a woman my age. I can tell you I have clean thoughts, and God has cleansed my mind. Five years ago, I began having severe chest pain; it was so bad I could not take a breath. I went to my doctor’s office, and they ran all kinds of tests on my heart to see if I had a heart attack. After all the results came in, the doctor came into the room and said, ‘Ms. Brooks, you have the ‘cleanest heart’ I have ever seen!’ I have never heard those words before. ‘A clean heart!’ He said, ‘there is nothing wrong with your heart.’

I believe every word I am speaking to you. Five years ago, I began making declarations over myself every morning when I was awakened and continue to this day. Daily I declare I am healthy, wealthy in every area of my life, and generous on every occasion. I am wise beyond my years, I have keen discernment, and every time I read and study the Word of God; I gain profound revelation. God desires to cleanse your heart and mind so you can live a blessed life!

Pray with me:
Father God, I repent for contaminated/ polluted thoughts; I ask You to forgive me and cleanse my mind, heart, soul, and spirit. Please help me think about what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. I declare I will think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8-9), and I will meditate on the Word of God day and night (Joshua 1:8-9). No longer will I meditate on my thoughts. Daily I will get up and put on the whole armor of God when I am getting dressed so I can quench the fiery darts of the devil. (Ephesians 4:12-18) I will make daily declarations and change my coming year in Jesus’ name! Amen.
