Mustard Seed Faith
My child, have faith in Me – the size of a mustard seed and you will see mountains move out of your way! (Mark 11:22-24) A centurion came pleading calling Me Lord to heal his servant boy who was paralyzed and terribly tormented. This Roman officer was seeking Me and there is no such thing as seeking without finding. (Matthew 7:8) Anyone who seeks will always find. Clearly, this Roman officer understood authority. When he called me Lord – he was saying look I am a man in authority, and I recognize authority and I know you have the authority to heal my servant boy. What great faith! I was willing to go to his house and heal his servant, but the centurion said to Me: ‘Lord I am not worthy for You to come under my roof – just speak the Word only and my servant boy will be healed.’ (Matthew 8:5-8, 10) I was pleased. Never had I seen such great a faith as this. I said to the Centurion, ‘Go home, and as you have believed let it be done for you. His servant was healed in that same hour. When a leader possesses authority, their words carry weight, and the Centurion’s words carry weight. How much weight do your words carry?
