A Hero in the Faith Hall of Fame
My beloved one it is the heart of God that you would spend your days and nights walking with Him. Enoch walked with God faithfully after he became the father of Methuselah, and then he had more sons and daughters. For 300 years, he habitually walked with God and talked with God, then one day he was closer to heaven than he was home, and God just said, come on in! Throughout those years, he walked in faith, and that made all the difference. No matter what happened, he trusted God. He obeyed Him. God loved Enoch so much that He spared him the experience of death. (Genesis 5:18-24 ESV) His testimony is that he pleased God. David made a lot of mistakes; however, he was quick to repent and obey God. He was a man after God’s own heart. He pleased God! Do you please God? You can begin today to obey God and his commands and become a man or woman after God’s own heart!

- By faith Enoch was taken from this life so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” Before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5 NIV)
More than anything else in life I desire to please God, what about you?
Pray this intimate prayer with me:
Abba Father, I love you so much and I desire to please You just like Enoch. I thank Daddy God, for holding my hand as I walk with You joyously through this day. Together we will savor the pleasures and endure the difficulties it brings. I intently listen to your voice and obey Your instructions. You are my constant companion, my way-maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness. You are my lover, my friend, my healer, protector, provider, peace, guide, joy, and love. My thoughts are on You Jehovah Yeshua as You guide me carefully on this journey called life. You order my steps and stops! I trust You Father and refuse to worry or allow fear to enter my heart – which is a spirit from the devil. I declare I am enjoying Your presence and staying in step with You in the Holy Righteous name of Jesus! Amen.
