I Am with You
My beloved one, I’ve been carrying you on my back from the day you were born, and I’ll keep on carrying you when you’re old. I will be your God throughout your lifetime until your hair is white with age. I created you and I will care for you. I’ve done it and I will keep on doing it, carrying you on my back, saving you. So, to whom will you compare Me, the Incomparable and the One who is Unstoppable? Can you picture Me without reducing Me? (Psalms 46:3-5 Message) I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel. There is none like Me! I will never stop loving you. No matter what you do or say, ‘I love you!’
“This is God’s Message to you today: This is God the One who made the earth, I made it livable and lasting, I am known everywhere as God: ‘Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’ (Jeremiah 33:3) And “If you’ll hold on to Me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best care if you’ll only get to know and trust Me. (Psalms 91:14) God doesn’t simply send an angel to hold your right hand. The God of heaven and earth personally holds your right hand. This is a figurative expression of his closeness to us and his personal care for us. He says that we are not to fear because he personally helps us – “I am the one who helps you.” You are not alone! I am with you, and I will not leave you. (Genesis 28:15)
Call Me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!” (Psalms 91:15-16 Message) For I hold you by your right hand – I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. (Isaiah 41:10 NIV) I will never leave nor forsake you! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2) Each of us will pass through waters and rivers of hardship and uncertainty and walk through the fires of life. But God has promised, ‘I will be with you. ‘Personally. Presently. Amid fire, like He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
