Patience Outlasts Every Storm
My beloved child, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity to grow and for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2-4) Patience is a major weapon you need to outlast any challenge and time of great stress. So let patience have her perfect work in you in its entirety! In the Greek ‘patience’ means ‘steadfast,’ firm endurance, staying power, or hang in there! If you are in a trying season right now My beloved be encouraged! (James 1:5-8) Things will soon change!
Fix your eyes on Jesus and not the problem and praise Him till you receive your breakthrough. Just as Jacob wrestled with the angel of the Lord all night long and cried out: ‘I will not let you go until you bless me!’ (Genesis 32:26) Make up your mind if you have got to go through hell you might as well get the blessing and the benefits! The Holy Spirit is preparing you for something so much greater! Be Alert! Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NIV) There is a blessing on the other side of this. But you must stand firm and set your gaze on the only One who can turn this around for your good and for Him to get all the glory, honor, and praise out of it! (James 1:9-12 NLT)
