I also want to celebrate and say Happy Birthday to the church, today is Pentecost! (Acts 1 & 2) 50 days ago, we celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus, Passover. I invite you to invest in your future by sowing a First Fruits offering of thanksgiving to secure His physical provision for the year ahead. Pentecost is a celebration of the Holy Spirit the 3rd person of the Godhead who is our advocate, He teaches, comforts, guides, reveals the truth, intercedes for us, empowers us, tells us what to say, and gives us peace. (John 14:26, 15:26-27, John 20:19-23)
This Pentecost the Holy Spirit is being poured out upon all flesh, refreshing you, and giving you a new vision for fulfilling the Great Commission. Under the New Covenant sealed by Jesus’ shed blood, death, and resurrection, we are free to honor and celebrate the feast of First Fruits, or not. God will allow you to miss His blessing if that’s what you want. So, don’t be judgmental of people who don’t want to honor and celebrate God’s Feasts. The Biblical cycle of Feasts was established for us to receive God’s blessing. If we miss our appointed times, we will end up out of sync with God. God appointed the Feasts of First Fruits as times of joy, and fellowship. Read about the three Feasts of First Fruits. (Leviticus 23, Hebrews 9, Deuteronomy 26:1-4)
In 2012, I began sowing First Fruits Offerings at Passover, Pentecost, and Day of Atonement as the Word of God commands us to do throughout all generations and it has changed my life. Today I live a debt-free life because I have honored God’s Word and disciplined myself and you can too! It is God who establishes us and gives us the power to have wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
Please pray, and consider sowing a First Fruits Offering, and only if the Holy Spirit leads you to sow a seed today in good ground and partner with me helping me to reach the hurting, broken, and lost, preaching the Good News, as well as equipping, empowering, and engaging leaders in their calling and sending them out to do what Jesus did – mentor and disciple others. www.judybrooks.org
I will be praying over every seed as a First Fruits Offering unto the Lord that has come into Empowering Int’l Ministries from Passover through this Pentecost Season of Miracles through the end of this coming week.
