My Plan for You vs. Your Plan
My precious child I am omnipresent – I am always everywhere. You cannot go anywhere to get away from My Spirit or flee from Me. (Psalms 139:7) My presence will go with you, and I am the One who gives you peace and rest. (Exodus 33:14) Seek Me and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:11-13) then I will make known to you the path of life you are to take. (Psalms 16:11) In My presence, you will be full of joy. Always follow the path of peace for that is where you will find Me.
I gave Jonah (meaning dove) instructions and showed him the path I planned for him – I commissioned him to go to Nineveh to warn the people that judgment is coming. He rebelled and consequently ended up miraculously back on the Mediterranean coast via the belly of a great fish. Then he cried out to Me in repentance, ‘O Lord, you have driven me from your presence. Yet I will look once more toward Your holy Temple.’ In his repentance, I snatched him from the jaws of death! He then cried, ‘As my life was slipping away, I remembered You O’ Lord, and in earnest prayer, I cried out to You in Your holy Temple – My salvation comes from You O’ Lord alone.’
He went to Nineveh and the people repented. (Jonah 2:1-7) I have a great plan for you, and you can go the easy way, or you can go the hard way but either way you are going. “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite – truly sorry for their sin and humble. (Isaiah 57:15) I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. I am close to those who are brokenhearted, and I save those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalms 34:18) Only in My presence can your soul be healed and restored! Won’t you spend time with Me today?
