Praise be to God Who
Always Causes Me to Triumph!’
Beloved one God is a good, good, Father, and He is so good to you and me. Say this with me: ‘Thank you Abba Father for being so good to me when you don’t have to and thank you for protecting me and loving me. Praise be to God who always causes me to triumph!’
This morning that very scripture was dropped in my spirit while having quiet time with the Lord. I opened a devotional that I read, ‘Come Away My Beloved,’ and the scripture of the day is “Praise be to God who always causes me to triumph. (1 Corinthians 15:57) This happened five minutes apart. I just love it when God confirms His Word. Thank you, Jesus!
Late yesterday afternoon I had to run errands. I had several stops to make including returning some items to Amazon at Whole Foods which is our drop-off. I had to take my MacBook Air Computer for them to scan the code because I couldn’t get it to print. After returning the items I set the computer in my cart. Upon leaving I put my groceries in the car and grabbed my purse which is the same color as the cart, and my computer. I was on my merry way to finish my errands. I got home about two hours later and suddenly realized I didn’t have my computer. So, I began to recount my footsteps and realized the last place I had was Whole Foods. I immediately prayed covering my computer and over twenty years of work then I called to see if anyone had turned in a computer. The gentleman said, ‘Yes ma’am, we have it at Customer Service.’ I told him my name and said, I will be there in 20 minutes.’ Upon my arrival before I even greeted the lady at Customer Service, she said, you look like your name is Judy Brooks! Are you here to pick up your computer? I said, ‘Yes ma’am!’ She handed it to me and said, ‘We found it in a shopping cart in the parking lot where you leave your cart!’ Oh, my goodness! I couldn’t believe it!
Thank you, Jesus, for protecting me, and my computer. He has protected me so many times, even when I am not fully present. I couldn’t stop praising and thanking the Lord! I am grateful God is with you and me, and He goes with us everywhere we go, and He will not leave us until He has fulfilled all His promises. (Genesis 28:15) Can you think of a time God protected you?
Meditate on the scripture of the day, memorize, and declare it daily. ‘Praise be to God who always causes me to triumph!’
(1 Corinthians 15:57)
