8 R’s to Be Healed
Beloved one, I have never had anyone lay hands on me and pray for me for deliverance or healing. My healing has come through my spending time in repentance, the Word of God, laying hands on myself, and praying for deliverance coupled with self-discipline. I lay hands on myself, anointing myself with oil, and sitting still in the secret place (a quiet place) of the Most High, praying then listening. David said, ‘I called out to the Lord and He heard me from His holy mountain. (Psalms 3:4) In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. (Psalms 34:4, 18:6, 27:4, 56:9, 121:1-2)
My desire is to empower you to lay hands on yourself and set yourself free. I want to give you instruction so you too can lay hands on yourself and deliver or heal yourself. There are eight steps to Freedom call the 8 R’s and if you follow the instructions not only will you be delivered of any habits that may have become an addiction, but you can use this to set others free. The 8 R’s to Freedom are:
1. First, you must RECOGNIZE you have sinned.
My people perish for lack of knowledge. Ignorance of the Word or truth. (Hosea 4:6)
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)
2. You must Take RESPONSIBILITY for what you have done.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive your sins, and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you, life, and death, blessing, and cursing. Therefore, choose life, so that you and your descendants may live or you and your seed (your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren from now till Jesus comes may live) (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Choose this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house – we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
4.Repent – and God to forgive you of your sin and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. (Psalms 103:12)
4. Renounce -You must make what you have recognized as sin your enemy and renounce it.
Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty, is divided between God and the world. (James 4:8)
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12)
5. Remove – Get rid of it once and for all – kick it out!
(Ezekiel 18:30-31)
“Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! 31 Put all your rebellion behind you and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel?
And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Galatians 5:24)
6. Resist -When it tries to come back resist it.
So, humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
7. Rejoice – Give God thanks for setting you free.
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17)
(Read Isaiah 35:1-10 When you have time)
8.Restore – help someone else free
But his own people have been robbed and plundered, enslaved, imprisoned, and trapped. They are fair game for anyone and have no one to protect them, no one to take them back home, or restore them. (Isaiah 42:22)
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and make me willing to obey you. Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you. (Psalms 51:12-13)
Pray with me:
Father God, I boldly come before your throne of grace and ask for mercy. I am asking just as David, heal and deliver me Abba Father. Thank you, Lord, for giving me the tools today to deliver myself and I will apply self-discipline to be healed and delivered. I repent of all my sins, and I ask you to forgive me of my sins and the sins, iniquities, and transgressions of my forefathers, cleansing me and making me whole by the power of the Holy Spirit. Father God, my name is written in the palm of your hand. (Isaiah 49:16) You called and chose me as Your very own and You are doing a New Thing in me. (Isaiah 43:1-5, 18-19) Holy Spirit set me free of habits and addictions on the authority of the Word of God in Jesus’ all-powerful name. (Psalms 139:5) I declare and decree that no weapon formed against me can prosper, and every tongue that rises up against me in judgment I condemn it because this is my heritage as a child of the most high God in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Amen. (Isaiah 54:17)
