Be Holy as God is Holy
My beloved child draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. (James 4:8) An intimate relationship with Me is the cure-all for all forms of sickness and dis-ease. Intimacy is into me seeing! The apostle Paul perfectly expressed what an intimate relationship with Me means: it was his most earnest desire as every true follower of Christ: “It is my determined purpose that I may know him” – Increasingly become more deeply intimate with Christ and understanding Him more clearly. (Philippians 3:10-11) I want to know Him and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I want to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!’ It is a daily walk-in relationship with Me – dying to self continually – then you will be transformed into My likeness. Dying to your flesh daily is the key to being Holy as I am Holy. (1 Peter 1:16) It is also the key to your having peace of mind, joy, and happiness.
Paul said, ‘Look I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.’ (Philippians 3:13-14) Live daily in My presence worshipping your King. Do you remember when I was in Gethsemane? I cried, ‘Father if it is possible let this cup pass from Me’ I was dying to everything Me – drinking the cup of sorrow – even though it was the hardest thing I had ever done – but it was all for you! (Matthew 26:39) I paid the price of Calvary, so you do not have to! As they nailed Me to the Cross, I looked out over the crowd that was blaspheming Me, spitting on Me, and scourging Me and cried, ‘Father forgive them because they do not even know what they are doing!’ (Luke 23:34) They didn’t realize they were nailing their Savior to the Cross. Peter tried to get Me to escape the Cross, but it was the enemy speaking through him – I had to rebuke him and said, ‘get behind Me, Satan!’ (Matthew 16:23) I only see the good in people! I would never put evil on anyone – every good and perfect gift comes from Me, and I desire to give you life and life more abundantly My beloved child – I paid a great price for you to be free and walk in wholeness! (James 1:17)
