Thankfulness
My child, gratitude cannot keep quiet; it must express itself at thanksgiving! (Psalms 7:17) As Jesus continued toward Jerusalem, He reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. He entered a village there, and ten lepers stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him for what He had done. His gratitude had to be expressed! This man was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, wait a minute, ‘didn’t I heal ten men? Has no one returned to give glory to the Father except this foreigner?’ Oh! Heavenly Father forgives us for the times we have not returned to give glory to the Father for being so good to us! Then Jesus said, to the man, ‘Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you!’ (Luke 17:11-17)
Heartfelt thanksgiving must escape and express itself to those who contributed to their cause for joy. (Psalms 9:1) When you praise and thank Me, it is the peak of gratitude! (Psalms 106:1) When verbal gratitude is suppressed, then those who remain silent miss out on bringing public praise, honor, and glory to Me! (Psalms 35:18) Your gratitude and appreciation to Me produce generosity, and joy springs up in your heart. (Psalms 118:1) So, open your mouth wide with words of thanksgiving and watch the wonderful works I do around you. (I am the giver of every good and perfect gift. (James 1:17) Many times, I use a human being in the process of a blessing I am trying to get to you! (Ezra 3:11) The more you grow in My grace, which is sufficient – the more thankful you become! (2 Corinthians 12:9) Do you model humility with an attitude of gratitude? (Acts 24:2-3)
Pray with me:
Father God, I boldly thank You Sir for every prayer you have answered, thank you for every act of favor you have bestowed on me, and every blessing you have given me. Thank you! I am so grateful and thankful You hear and answer every prayer I have prayed. Thank you for the Favor of God with God and the man, I walk in. I declare and decree I will always praise You and Bless You my Lord. Your praise shall continually be in my mouth in Jesus’ most powerful name. Amen.
